Sunday Roll Call
Hello everyone
My temp says -3. BRRRR. I haven't decided if I'm going out today. I just might stay in all day. The thought of going out in the cold is not fun. Of course tomorrow I have to go to work, BLAH. Then I will have to go out in the cold. I just want to curl up and hibernate.
Well you know when you get a Walmart receipt it has a survey and a chance to win $1000 gift card. Well I filled out the survey online. I got an email saying I won and I just have to confirm to receive the gift card. So I went to confirm thinking if they ask any personal questions (like ss# or account#) I will know its a hoax. It didn't ask any thing like that. Just the normal phone#, address type thing. Supposedly I'm going to receive the gift card in the mail. I'm still not completely convinced. But it would be nice. I guess I will find out if its true.

That sounds wonderful! I hope it is true! The only time I won something like that was a $25.00 certificate to McDonalds ,,,, right after I had surgery lol. I use it to buy the snack wraps which are a meal for me. It is lasting forever. I did not realize you could take surveys at WalMart. I need to pay closer attention. Congratulations!

Good Morning Friends.
I think today will be focused on me. That is, after I do laundry, dishes, beds, and general pickups. I want to start on Xmas cookies today. And maybe some chocolate covered prezels. (If I have the choc. bark to do them.) i am not going to leave the house today.
Otherwise, stay warm. It is a cold one today.

Good morning Nancy and IL friends.
Yep, it's is sure bitter cold today. I am going out later this morning to visit with Willow. I'll be dressing very warm and make sure that the gas tank is full.
Yesterday was another busy day. My sister came to visit and then I went out with my ex Pres of the homeowners association for a light meal and coffee. We went over some business as well as reviewing the activities of the election.
Tomorrow I'll be working and leaving early to see Monica for lunch. YAY!!
Hope everyone stays warm and safe. It's going to be a snowy week and very cold. I sure hope that January isn't as cold.

One thing I have that makes going out in this weather bearable is a remote starter for my car. That was my Christmas present last year. I love it! I am glad that the price of gas is down so I dont feel bad about using it. It is nice to get in a warm car.
