Writing Christmas cards out to all the family and friends today. Had a great time in Arkansas last week and made family pictures that I'm using for my cards. My daughter hid a little kitten  in the car until we were well on our way home and i finally saw it.. she said Happy Christmas... it was my brother and her plan so i couldn't tell them no. Doing well with my eating but losing slow at 11 weeks out.

Hi Robbie  I see you got you pic up, Very nice,
Your daughters sounds like me I was always bring home some kind of animal when I was a Kid.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good afternoon everyone,

My day started out with a 3 month f/u with my surgeon, (only a couple of weeks or so behind).  I had all my labs done last week, so I could go over the results with the doctor.  I don't know why, I expected bad results...I figured I would be low in something, but that was not the case.  Everything tested out in the normal range--not even low normal, but right smack in the middle.   Yea.....I love my RNY

We are going to a high school basket ball game tonight.  I hate the crowds, but will be with my husband so it should be o.k.   We don't have any kids at that school, but our niece is a varsity cheerleader--rah rah.

Stay warm  (it's cold out there)

I had an uneventful day until I was driving down Farnsworth in Aurora and ran out of gas.  I immediately put my hazzard lights on.  I saw a gas station just visible up ahead, but was nervous about trying to walk over there in the snow with a cane.  I called the Aurora police.  They sent someone out, who went over to the gas station, borrowed a container, filled it up, and put it in my tank (I had given the policeman $5 for the gas).  He stayed there until he made sure my car started again.  I drove over to the station to return the can and put $10 of gas in the car.  I filled the rest of the tank up at Wal-Mart in Oswego.

Many people honked their horns or drove around me in a wild frenzy.  I don't know why they thought I was sitting there not moving as if I could start driving again.  Maybe they thought I had stopped at one of the homes to run an errand.  Of course, I was sitting in the car the whole time.

Anyway, I got home later, but at least safe and sound.  It was horribly cold while filling up at two stations.

I am tempted to have take-out food the next three days before I start the liquid diet.  I don't know what will actually happen.

Take care and stay warm.

Definately not the best day to be stranded.  I am glad you got home OK.

Randy

So you have been forgiven?
