Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Thursday Morning Call
I agree with all of you, I am cold too. I want to get a jacket out and put it on over the layers I am already wearing. Or make a cup of tea to drink.
All the parking lots are icy. I don't understand why the Fox Valley Park District doesn't clean the snow off the sidewalks where handiacapped parking is. They only cleaned a straight shot down the walkway but there is side parking too.
I am looking forward to the Lifeweigh celebration tonight, but not to getting home so late.
School starts in 5 minutes and I will have to grab a couple of students to work with.
Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning -
Today is another full day. I have to work both jobs but then I'm off tomorrow and Monday. I don't know what I was thinking... I have my annual physical at 8am tomorrow and then another appointment at 11 with my foot doctor. I have to run by Doc R's office and get my B12 shot sometime. so I have some runnin to do. No other big plans. I would like to find myself a pair of nice snow boots so I may go shopping in between appointments.
Well, I have to get busy.. Don't want to leave any loose ends here at work since I'll be off a couple of days.
Have a great day everyone!

Hi to all. I get to drive to Barrington today to see the doc and hopefully get a fill. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for me that he does it this time and won't ake me come back in 2 weeks again.Let's just say the Holidays have not been good to me... or maybe it's the other way around and I haven't been good on the holidays! I pan on doing some Christmas shopping while I am there and then back to Rockford for a bowling meet with Alex. He goes to Vernon Hills on saturday for a tournament so it will be another busy weekend.

Good morning Lucy and the rest of Illinois!!!!
Lucy, I'm glad to see that you will get to rest tonight, you have really been a social butterfly this week!
My busy weekend begins this afternoon. I have to leave work early (in Rockford) and drive out to get the kids from school (in Dakota), drop David off at home (in Rock City), then back into Rockford for the final dress and technical rehearsal at 4:30. We have some finishing touches on the lobby and hopefully, we will get to watch the dress rehearsal and take pictures. I will leave work early again tomorrow to do the same amount of driving again. Then, tomorrow is Opening Night! Liv is very excited, and does not seem nervous at all!
She has two performances on Saturday and one on Sunday. Then this show will close and she will have to find something else to keep her occupied. I think she will be busy making Christmas cards and getting ready for Christmas.
I have found a solution to the COLD!!!!! Under Armour ColdGear!!!! This stuff is very expensive, but as I sit here in just my Under Armour ColdGear and a sweatshirt and jeans, I think it was worth every penny!!!!
My in-laws bought me a set for my birthday (approx $ 50.00 per piece--usually too rich for my blood!!). They arrived yesterday. When I came into work yesterday, I had on 2 pairs of socks, long johns, jeans, a sweater tank, a long sleeved long john shirt, a long sleeved thin sweater, a very thick wool sweater and a huge double layered polar fleece pullover. Today, I have on my Under Armour (base 2.0) bottoms and top under a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt with 2 pairs of socks. I AM COMFORTABLE!!!!! I CAN MOVE!!!!!
I have purchased the Wal-Mart knock off and it does not work the same (at least for me). When I wear my Wal-Mart one, I still have to have 2-3 other layers. A man who works outside for a living was wearing his with just a sweatshirt and he told me that he had tried every type of knock-off and not to bother----the Under Armour ColdGear is the only thing that really works. Now that I have them, I see what he means. I went back out to their site and they have the ColdGear Base 2.0 tops in the "Outlet" section in brown for only $ 35.00. I ordered one, because I really don't care WHAT color it is, as long as I can be warm and comfortable. I was starting to feel like the little kid in "A Christmas Story", all bundled up and barely able to move.
Now.....I need to find out if they make socks.......
I wish everyone a lovely day and hope to hear from Michelle soon and that Monica is back to her old self.

Hello Everyone,
I'm glad to see everyone is doing good!!! I tell ya speaking of staying warm, since loosing this weight it is next to impossible. My son and hubby in the car are sweating to death and I'm still freezing, especially my feet. I can't wait to save money on electricity this summer, won;t have to run the air so much.
My UPS man does the same thing, I came home yesterday and 6 boxes were sitting right in front of the door and 3 of them were pretty heavy.
Not much going on for me today, I'm suppose to sit and get christmas cards done, but I cant seem to get going on that for some reason. Tonight I need to get back to the gym, my arthritis has been really bad since I did a spring cleaning in winter the other day, cleaned for about 8 hours straight. It didn't really need it but I got going and just would see something that needed a little extra touch so I did it, nex tthing I knew it was very late in the day. For the last few days its been very hard to move, I'm better today so I'm going to the pool tonight. Next 2 weeks are going to be crazy the 13th is my family christmas, oh I cant wait!!! So mom and I will be baking and cooking all next week, and then also trying to go over to my friends house who just got out of the hospital to help her with housework. I'm looking forward to the 17th and seeing folks at support group christmas party.
Ok enough blah blah blah from me!
Hope everyone had a wonderful day, try and stay warm!!!
Big Hugs,
Angie
PS: If I go by my beginning weight before the 2 weeks diet, I have lost 102.1 pounds....WOO HOO!!!
I need to kick this in high gear (exercising), if I want to lose 100 pounds (since surgery day weight 290.2) by christmas.
