Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Thursday Morning Call
The trip home from work yesterday was sloppy, more then bad. For that I was grateful. I hate country roads when they are blowing. For you that live in the city, including suburbs, out here when it snows the roads will drift. Then you can't see them, so it is dangeros to drive. We don't have the barriers (houses and buildings) on either side to stop the snow from moving. Even though I live in town, to get anywhere else, you must go out on the country highways and byways.
I need to leave for work within a few min. At least I have a small portable heater there. Our company objects to having them in your office, but, I can't work if I am cold.
Dress warm, stay warm, stay safe.
Hugs
I know what you mean by blowing and drifting snow. There is still alot of farm land in Oswego. There is a strech of road I drive that is farmland on both sides. It doesn't matter how many time they plow it just blows right back onto the street again. After awhile there are tire tracks and I just follow the tire tracks. And the snow stays on the road until theres a warm up (which isn't coming any time soon). I always hope for the heavy wet snow, at least that doesn't blow and drift.
Today not much going on just trying to stay warm, Hope everyone has a good day and staying warm,
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
It is cold this morning....but it could be worse....it could be below zero....
Not much on my agenda til later...going to the gym tonight. I did get to meet Georgie last night before the seminar. She is a very nice lady and I hope we all see her posting more here soon.
Keep warm and keep safe!
Good morning!
I am reading this from home where i want to stay if it is so cold, but at least I can go downstairs and dig out my down coat! I think I will wear something particularly warm to work. Unfortunately I wore my warmest jacket yesterday. Lands End had a blazer this year made out of polartec fleece, so I bought it. It's dressy enough for work and yet totally warm. Maybe I should get one in another color!
Well I don't have any news so I'll just say "stay warm" and get well to those who are sick!
