Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Thursday Morning Call
Good morning IL friends! Can you say Brrrrrrrrrrrrr and give me a blanket this morning? It's mighty chilly here.
I've been so busy this week with office meetings and dinner parties as well as my association board meeting. Last night, another very long day. I got home at 11:30 pm and now I am at work.
What's new??? Anyone heard from Michelle and how she is doing post-op?
I hope that Monica is feeling better and can't wait to see her on Monday.
Today I'm going to another hospital for a computer class this morning. No special plans for tonight, other than staying at home in front of the TV. I'm exhausted after the last two nights being out and about.

Good Morning Lucy!
Great minds think alike. We both posted a roll call at the same time. I am as cold as you are! I am wanting a portable heater to carry around. I have a spare blanket but that is not cutting it.
I just have the ordinary day at work today. I am starting to get some of my Christmas orders via UPS. Last night I came home and my front door could not be found. I had ordered a set of Reindeer from Crate and Barrell and they are huge packages! Also one of my American Girl orders also came in, so lots of boxes to carry in last night.
I got another email this morning that more packages are arriving today. So the UPS man will block my door again! Somehow he seems to think that he needs to place the packages right in front of the door so you cant open it. He did that earlier this week when I was home and I couldnt get the door open to get the package!??! I was like "What IS he thinking?

Good morning Nancy! Can I have some of your wonderful packages? LOL... At least you get them at your front door. Mine are placed on the side of the door in the black dirt, so I have to brush off the dirt before bringing the packages in the house.
I think the winters are going to get harder and harder for me to take. Ummm, I just might have to relocate to the west
when I retire, but that's not for some time. Darn!!!

Yes it sure is cold out this morning and I haven't even really been outside yet, just opening the door to let dogs in and out!
Today I have to run to the high school to drop off something and then stop somewhere for milk, which I didn't get yesterday because it was too expensive where I was at. Tyler has a wrestling meet tonight at 6pm at Waubonsee Valley high school, where ever that is so we'll be there til it's over and then home and bed. I have been going to bed early every night and I am feeling better, though my head is still all stuffed up. I have a beef stew in the crock pot and will spend more time resting today.

Believe it or not, my dogs LOVE this weather!! Harley, who turned 3 yesterday, would stay out all day if I let him! He's nuts...but then again they are White Shepherds so they do have a thick double coat.
I made extra beef stew and I am going to freeze it, so when we want something to throw into the crock pot we can just pop it in there!

OOOO its cold outside. It took me a few minutes to clean off my car. By the time I got in my car I was frozen. I can't imagine how cold I will be when I lose this weight.
I hope everyone got home safely yesterday. I did fine, we only got an inch of snow. It wasn't even sticking to the roads when I was driving home yesterday.
I hope everyone that is sick is doing better. I hope Michelle is doing better. How long do you stay in the hospital after RNY? Maybe she will be home today.

Hi Crystal. I was so happy we didn't get the snow that the weather forecasters were telling us. It sure made an easier commute late last night.
Hospital stay after RNY depends on the individual, as it can be as short as 2 days or up to 5 without complications and whether you had it laparoscopically or an open incision.
