Wednesday Roll Call
Of all nights, it has to snow when I have this doctors dinner party. I have to go. It wouldn't look good if I don't show up. And, I love my docs and have a good time with them. I'll just have to be extra careful and slow coming home tonight.
I have another dinner party on Friday night in the same area at the Glen - at Wildfire. Our CEO is taking the management team out for dinner.

I'm sure you don't remember the snowstorm of 1967. I was a freshman in high school. My sister and I went to school that morning and we had to take 2 buses to school. Well, got there and found out that classes were cancelled and had to come back home. That's where it became a problem. No CTA buses anywhere until we almost made it home. We had to walk most of the way in the heavy snow with our school books. Once we got home, I lived in the city of Chicago, we were stranded - no way out. All of our neighbors had to shovel the streets. YIKES!

Not much going on with me today just going to watch my granddaughter this morning, she is not problem it should be a nice morning.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Sounds like the IL board needs to move westward! Wouldn't that be a hoot.

I agree we all need to move to a much warmer place. I always say I am looking for a place that is about 75 to 80 year round, do you think I will every find a place like that

Lucy, are you talking about The Glen in Glenview? I drove through there a couple of years ago and it looked like a very nice place.
I was 23 when we has the snowstorm in '79. I was waitressing at a restaurant near my home at the time and someone from my job came and picked me up for work just so they'd be staffed! I still remember that. '67 my family was living in Northern Indiana (Mishawauka area) so I'm sure we got hit but that storm too.
I'm hoping the really bad stuff doesn't start until late afternoon....after I get home from work, anyway.
