Monday "Winter Wonderland" Roll Call
Good Monday Morning my Illinois Friends!
Well, we did get a little bit of snow == about 6 inches here. Should be fun getting around. Be careful with that
and driving.
It is pretty out there and did get me in the mood to Christmas shop via the internet. Got a lot of my shopping done and pulled out my scrapbook things to start on a scrapbook for one of my nieces for a Christmas present. Now, if I can stay off OH long enough to fini****!
It is susposed to be COLD today so bundle up.

Good morning Nancy and Illinois friends,
Just getting ready to leave the house for work. Hopefully 294 won't be too bad. Today is my last day of work before my medical leave. Tomorrow is the big day. I am so excited that I don't even mind going to work today!! I have to be at the hospital @ 5am and surgery is at 7am. I am packed and ready to go. I hope everyone has a safe commute today, and those who are lucky and don't have to go out enjoy "Cyber Monday".

Just getting ready to leave the house for work. Hopefully 294 won't be too bad. Today is my last day of work before my medical leave. Tomorrow is the big day. Hello everyone 
My first drive in the snow. I hate it. Coming into work early is good because I avoid all of the traffic but the roads are still mostly unplowed and unsalted. It was slippery. I had a big 4x4 SUV on my butt most of the drive into work. I wasn't going really slow but obviously not fast enough for him. I hate that. Just because he's in a SUV doesn't mean the rest of us are. I drive a small Toyota Corolla. I can't go 65 mph in the snow. Ok that's my gripe for the day.
Well that long Thanksgiving weekend went by way too fast. My daughter went back to school yesterday. She will be back after finals for Christmas break. I think this Thanksgiving break was relaxing but I don't think I did well losing weight.
Michelle good luck on your surgery. I'm green with envy. I wish mine was tomorrow.

Dee, all you got was rain and gloom yesterday in southern Illinois.
Today is back to work. No breaks now until Christmas Eve.
I did go get all of my baking supplies yesterday. Didn't do any. I think I will be starting on Friday, so I can take some cookies with me to my sisters for Saterday.

Me, well I am in the office today. We'll be decorating the tree and office for the holidays. I've got two office dinner parties this week. Ugh!!
But on the high side, there will be some snow shoveling to do. Great activity and calorie burning points. YAY!!

It snowed here too, but I can still see whisps of grass sticking out so it's not that much. It is cold though and I have to have the kids really bundle up before going to the bus stop because the buses are always late the first snow. You would think they know by now to get there early and warm up and clean off the buses earlier huh? Nah, let's let the kids stand outside even longer! Tyler went to school, though he's still not feeling good, Austyn is fine and getting ready to leave and Jacob is still in bed, really sick. I will be calling a new dr for them today to see what's going on. They are both complaining their ears hurt and their throats too. I woke up with a sore throat and feeling blah today too. oh well, tis the season I guess.
So, other than Dr visits hopefully we have nothing planned for today. Just staying warm and resting.

Good morning!
It is so beautiful outside! I know the driving will be awful but it's only two miles to school so I will be OK. I'm sure the streets will be clear by noon. Today is a long day for me, although they are all really about the same, but I guess because it is Monday, it seems longer.
This is World AIDS Day--keep in mind all the youth and creativity we have lost to this disease!
