Requesting your prayers

Hi All, I know I haven't been posting a lot lately, but I have been having some MAJOR PAIN issues with my back and leg. I've been on medical leave from work since Nov 8th and tomorrow wlll be undergoing an "invasive procedure" by the spine specialist. Since I wIll be going under sedation, I am quite scared and am asking for your thoughts and prayers. Since they won't allow you to drive to/from the hospital yourself, I have rented a hotel room and will be shuttled to the hospital and then I guess take a cab back to the hotel. This really stinks that I have to go through it alone, but everyone has copped out on me and my mother who is 84yrs old isn't exactly in the best position to help me. Please pray that the procedure is successful and that I can return to work soon. I really do miss "my officers" on the other end of the radio. Also please pray that I find the strength to get through this alone. thanks, and God bless all of you, Paula

btw, I love your avatar..I am totally a Tinkerbell fan now...I could never relate to her before I went blond..but now....seriously, everything Tinkerbell in my world!  LOL!

I am so sorry you are having the pain issues.  I can relate to undergoing proceedures alone as I have also done that many times.  It can be a little unnerving to say the least.  Do you need someone to contact you at the hotel tomorrow to make sure you are ok?  If so, I will be glad to do so.  PM me your contact info. 

Dont hesitate to let the hospital know that you are going back to a hotel.  The last time I had a proceedure done, they would not let me go back to a hotel and kept me in the hospital overnight and insurance covered it.

I am sorry for the late reply to your post. You are so sweet to offer to contact me and all...I really appreciate that.

I did ok with the hotel stuff.....they were sooo good to me and I will definitely use that hotel chain again. 

The bellhop was mentioning that they were going to start adding ameneties(sp) to the location such as having some rooms pet-friendly...I said that would be great cuz I like to travel with my lil papillion Copper but this time would not have been able to walk him.  He said, "oh, I would walk him for you"....how cool is that?!?!?   My dog is soooo spoiled already, having his own personal valet would just be over the top!

Again, thanks for thinking of me..I am feeling much better and back home with my furkids.

Thank you so much.....I did a lot of praying and crying......and I made it through.  Thank you so much for your prayers.  I feel so much better today and am looking forward to more healing with the help of physical therapy, etc.
