Saturday Roll Call
What is everyone's plans for the weekend? I am going to a craft fair and the show, I am finally going to see Twlight. I also want to see the new movie out with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn, it looks funny.
They are saying snow and sleet for me tonight after midnight, what's your weather like?
Well, the dogs are wanting to play, so I better get off before they end up jumping on me.
Have a great day!

Not to much on my agenda today. Just do some bookwork, fix meds for the next two weeks, make some chili, pick up a couple of bedrooms, wrap 2 rugs for Xmas, maybe run to Sav alot or Aldi for a few baking supplies and veg in front of the tv and watch some christmas movies.Just a quiet day with no company, no work.
We may walk down to our local park this evening to see the Xmas lighting cermony. It is one of the biggest displays in miles, they do every tree in the park , all the light poles, alot of little trees and a lot of free standing stuff. It will draw over 15000 people from all over the area. Almost every street in town will have some outdoor decorations, our downtown area has every tree done in lights, plus free standing trees on the corners, and a lot of the stores decorate. The town is very festive.
I hope everyone that went shopping yesterday is well rested, and if you are heading for shopping today, have a productive day. Just remember, the more you buy, the more you have to wrap.
Huggers to all
Today we are going out to breakfast, then to go see "Four Christmases",
doing a little grocery shopping, stopping home to get the crockpot going and eat lunch then out the door to visit 3 of the grandkids. We will busy today, who knows what tomorrow will be like.
Have a great week-end!
So today is just RNR for me. No workie at either job. Yea!
I do want to move the bedroom furniture around in the master. But if it gets done, it gets done and if it does not....... it will wait for another day. I'm just in one of those really lazy moods. Matter of fact, I'm going back to bed. LOL
Hope you have a great Saturday.

I am taking Liv into Rockford for rehearsal this afternoon. I may stay and help decorate the lobby of the theater, and try to squeeze in a visit with my Aunt. Tomorrow, she has rehearsal again, so more of the same.
I suppose I should try to start Christmas shopping, but I just can't get motivated this year. I have been making hot sauces and pesto for friends's baskets, but besides that, we just can't seem to get going. I think our project this year is going to be candles.
Here in northern IL, they are calling for light snow after midnight, with accumulation tomorrow up to 1 inch. No biggie. I was hoping that Todd would get the lights up outside today, but we will see........
Keeping Paulette in my thoughts.
Has anyone heard from Lucy?
Stay warm and have a spectacular day!
By the way, I am totally done shopping for Xmas, and I have everything wrapped.

Hugs
I have finally got around to checking in this morning. I slept in this morning and have been putzing around. I plan to start a scrapbook later today for a Christmas present.
I got off work at 3pm yesterday so I got my grocery shopping done. Work was so slow. I read 3 newspaper. I only had 15 calls in the 5 hours I was on the phone. I usually have at least 15 calls in an hour! I was so glad to get out of there!
It is susposed to get up to 50 here today. I will take it. But then snow tonight and tomorrow.
Have a great weekend!

We put the lights out on the balcony yesterday. No trees for me so I do not get my "Christmas Flu" . We have a small porcelin tree and a nativity that I am trying to think of a good place for in our small apartment.
The weather here is headed above freezing today. Into the mid forties with sunshine then clouds later. I had one of my two cups of tea and a small cigar on the balcony this morning In shorts and barefoot. That will soon not be possible. Snow was forcast to begin here on Wednesday. They have moved that up to starting tomorrow. The scale has of course gone up. Time to get back to normal and have that go back down again.

I have used weather.com as that was what was attached to the Chronicle in Houston. Here I have gotten used to Accueweather.com where I can put in my zip code. It is attached to the Sun. It is normal for forcast to change as meteorology is not an exact science yet. I get my other "print" news from the Trib though.
