Praise the Lord I am home and out of that hospital.  I have never had such poor care, except when I
had my bypass/band in '07.  I still have no clue what is wrong, they tested everything but the prostrate.  So if I still have as much pain when the world re-opens tommorow I'll call one my Docs at CDH.  The internist they assigned me took away ALL my heart failure meds and said he doesn't think I need them.  Finally yesterday they gave me my pee pillsand I whizzed away 6 lbs of fluid and another 3 today.  Eddie and I are just going to have dinner at home and veg for a few days.  Thank you ALL for all the prayers and good wishes-they helped me keep going.  I love you all and you are on my things to grateful for list.  Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving-I know just being home for my anniversary was the best gift in the world!!!!  HUGE HUGS-Janet K

P.S. Thank you again Christina for keeping everyone informed.  You are one in a million!!

Janet

I am glad you are safely home but sorry that they did not find out what was causing the problems.  I definitely would call one of your other doctors tomorrow.  It sounds like you received really bad care.

Hope you are feeling better soon and that your doctors can get to the bottom of this.

Janet,

I'm sorry you received such bad care and that they did not find out what the problem was.  That has to be so frustrating!  I will keep you in my prayers and hope that the other doctors can find out what is going on and help you.   I am glad you are home in your own bed and resting.  Keep us updated and let us know how you are doing.

Dear Janet:

I am so glad to hear that you got to go home and be with Eddie for your anniversary.

Please call whatever other doctors that you need to call to get to the bottom of your issues.  I have heard of something called "intesuption" (I'm sure I did not spell that right......) where the intestine "telescope" on themselves that can be very painful, but hard to diagnose since it is intermittent.

I am wishing you better health and better days!!!!

Tell someone that you love them!

I am so glad that you were home for your anniversary. I know how frustrating it is when you don't get the care you need from your doctor or hospital. As much as I love AB, if it were me, I would get up to Rodchester and go to Mayo's. They were able to find a colon problem I had after  trying Drs. and specialists from Springfield to Chicago for 6 months. My problem was solved in 3 days, and the reason was it took so long was that I needed to get blood (3 units) before they did anything.

Anyway, I am glad you are home.

Hi Janet. I am so sorry that you've gone through such a difficult time. I agree with you about Alexian Brothers. The nursing care sucks.

I don't know what is going on with the docs. Are they too busy with their WLS?? I, too had a similar experience when I was in the hospital last October. Dr. Guske didn't even see me, I saw Dr. Wallace, and it was late in the day. Lately, I haven't been very pleased with them.

Hope you are feeling better and get to the root of your pain.

Love,
Lucy
