Consumer Complaint
I have a lot of recipes to jazz up my protein shakes. Several include the use of sugar free syrups. I wanted to order through Vitalady's site, but she does not ship syrups during the cold weather months. Well, I Googled and found a bunch of places. I eventually landed at www.syrup2u.com and it's been hell ever since
. I placed my order 11/10/08 and I will not receive it until 12/1/08. I've called several times and I was given one excuse after the next. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS COMPANY. Here's a copy of the email I sent today:
FIRST AND LAST ORDER
Hello, I just checked the UPS tracking number and my package is scheduled for 12/1/08. This is not good. I ordered my syrups on 11/10/08. I was never notified that any of the items were on backorder. I had to call to find that out. Also, when I called last week and was told that my order would ship that day, I was told that it wasn't too late to add two more bottles. "Great!" I thought, this is going to work out just fine. Well, it didn't. Your company has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I called yesterday (AGAIN) and told you yesterday that I had to have the syrups no later than Friday, 11/28/08. I'm hosting a party on Saturday and I need the syrups for taste testing. Now I will have to spend the better part of my day trying to find a company that is within driving distance to fulfill my needs. Twenty-one days for delivery is unacceptable. I am going to report you to PayPal, BBB and to every Diabetic/WLS group that I support.
