Tuesday Roll Call
Good morning!
It sounds like everyone is so busy! I feel like a slug in comparison! We go to Kay's brothers for Thanksgiving and we don't have to do anything except show up. I am going to avoid Black Friday also by hanging out at Unique Knits with my friends.
Have a good day and stay warm!

Since I'm not cooking for Thanksgiving I don't have much to prepare. I'm making a pumpkin cheesecake tomorrow to take to dinner. So today's agenda: laundry...start putting together the Christmas tree, (normally I don't do this until after Thanksgiving)....last minute grocery run.....exercise at home since I'm going to the support group meeting tonight. I will not be out shopping this weekend at all as I have all my Christmas shopping done and wrapped and the stores are too busy, too crowded.
Hope everyone has a safe and happy day!
Have a great day.
Happy Tuesday. I'm working both jobs today so that is just about all I can fit on my agenda. Busy here at work trying to finish up billing stuff for end of month. I have not talked to Janet yet today. As of late yesterday, she did finally see Dr. Wallace. She said he did not examine her, just stood at the end of her bed and talked to her. She is so frustrated with the Doctors right now. He did say they would be doing a endoscopy and possibly a colonoscopy today to see if the band eroded and is cutting into her stomach ????
Please continue to keep her in your thoughts in prayers.

Good morning everyone. I have never posted--but read everything. I decided it was time to introduce myself. I had RNY done at Springfield Memorial in August. So far, so good. My family has been great--except for my mom--who puts the bowl of candy under my nose and then says, "oh you can't have that, can you." My ususal reply is "I can have anything I want, I choose not to have that."
I am a stay at home mom to my two cats....I have a 22 year old son who is a junior at Western Illinois University (history education major until he changes his mind again) and a husband of almost 24 years. We are a retired military family--Air Force. My husband spent a little over 20 years and I served for 4 years.
It is nice to meet everyone--I will keep in touch.
It's very nice to meet you.
I am relatively new here too. I joined the Illinois board in August. Everyone here is great. Join us everyday so we can get to know you.
My daughter is a junior too. She goes to University of Illinois- Champaign, she's an environmental science major. I have been lucky, she hasn't changed her major once. She is a major "tree-hugger".
Well see you here tomorrow.
Well I am running around today like crazy trying to get everything ready to go to my mom's this afternoon with my sis, neice and Jacob. We will be gone til Thursday night and they have no internet, so I won't be able to check in. I already took Tyler to the derm for his monthly check up and then I went to the mall and picked up my wedding ring which is now a little bit too tight! LOL I just can't win with it. I also picked up Mike's becuase they fixed a diamond that was loose.
I stopped at Wal Mart and picked up the 2nd book to the series I'm reading and now I am home and just hanging out til my sis gets here.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and please be safe! Enjoy the time spent with family and friends. I am so thankful this year for my surgery (both of them! lol) and for having you all in my life!!
I hope you enjoy your mom's house. I have to say I'm thankful for getting the ball rolling on my approval for surgery. I can't wait. And I agree I am thankful for everyone here. Everyone is so supportive and understanding. Especially you.
I will hear from you later when you get back from your mom's house.
This is going to be short and here's hoping everyone will have a wonderful THANKSGIVING!!!!
My friend Teri is back in the hospital, she is the one who has been not able to eat since she has had her RNY back in July and then had a bowel abstruction (surgery) 3 days after the RNY, and then 4 pouch stretches, cause the dr made the pouch possibl too small, well then she ended up with a 2" ulcer, so they were going to do reconstructive stomach surgery on her, well her DH calle dme tonight and she is back in the hospital with a very severe infection at the incision and underneath in the abdominal cavity. I'm very truly scared for her. Please one and all keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
So to just hit and run but have to get up early and get cooking done, so I can go up to hosptial and be with her while her DH is working.
I'm so having munching issues right now, have alot of negative stuff going on in my life and today from the time I got up was one bad hit after another. Looks like it won;t get any better for about 4-5 months, it is going to be a long 4-5 months....UGH!!!!
On a brighter note....its soon to be family time and that I love!!!
Again everyone have a great THANKSGIVING!!!!
Big Hugs,
Angie
