Sunday Roll Call
Good Morning Everyone!
I woke up at 3:30 this morning and could not go back to sleep, so here I am and figured that I would get the day off and running by posting. I have all of the coming holiday week off due to mandatory furlough, so I am going to try and get the house cleaned and get things to storage and get the Christmas stuff out of storage so I can put up the tree next weekend. I am hoping that I will be able to go out on Black Friday, as I find watching the people entertaining. I only have a couple of people to buy for, and have no idea what I am going to get them. School is going ok, and I will have finals due a week from Monday, so I will spend my time working on class stuff over the week as well, and look forward to getting time off at Christmas.
On another note, Next Friday I will be 11 months out....I sit here and reflect on the journey I have taken and how at this time last year I was 252 lbs and depressed, and waiting on approval from the insurance company. Today, the scale shows for the second week in a row 152 lbs so I have moved the ticker accordingly and can say it is official 100 lbs gone.
I wish I could make it to the get together, as I would like to see everyone.

Good Morning Wendi and the whole of Illinois.
I am not up as early as you are, but even for me on a Sunday morning, 6 am is a bit early.
Wendi, do you realize that you have lost the weight of a smaller 12 year old? You look great!
This morning I want to get some stuff done around the house, then I will have to be on the road by 10:15 or so to get to the Rockford get together on time. I am so thankful that the weather is good, since I doubt if I would drive I39 in a snow storm.
Yesterday, I finished up the Xmas shopping, and got some ideas for food for Xmsa Eve at Sams. As usual, I spent more then I wanted to, but nothing will go to waste. It was thier holiday open house, so alot of great food samples were out. I tryed everythng, and was fine until about 1 hour later. I knew I didn't need that last bite of chicken!
Looking forward to seeing everyone who is going to the get toether, and missing those that can't make it. And yes Dee, we will post the receipes from the party later.
Have a great day, and if you are driving today, be careful. There are a lot of bad drivers out there.

I just rolled over again at about 330.

Today, we will be getting ready for breakfast and then church real soon. Then we will go to a small place that shows the Bear games. I will go to a couple of consignment antique stores that are in downtown Dells and shop while Dave watches the game.

Good Morning Wendi and Illinois Friends!
It is good to check in this morning. I never made it yesterday. It was a busy day! I went to Ottawa and had 4 new tires put on my car. They gave me a certificate for an 18 lb turkey. I would be eating that sucker foever so, I drove to the grocery store where they were collecting for the food pantry and gave it to them. Hopefully some large family will have a turkey this Thanksgiving. Then I went to Farm and Fleet, came back to Peru, went and picked up my 2 new pairs of eyeglasses, came home and then went to WalMart for grocery shopping. A VERY expensive $$$ day to say the least!
When I came home, I found out both my sisters had called so I spent time chatting with them last night, prepared my dish for today and the collapsed.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone today. I hope to get to Rockford early enough to go to PetSmart to get an outdoor doghouse for my outside feral cat. The one she has is so big I dont think it does a very good job of keeping her warm. I looked yesterday but they were all huge in size.

Good Morning Wendi and the rest of my IL family,
I am very excited about the get together today. As for now, I am sitting here eating my breakfast and thinking about getting up the 2 sleepy heads that are still all snug in their beds! lol
I have already done all the dishes from yesterday and did some straightening up in case Mike gets home from WI before we get back from Rockford.
I might have a job offer too! I have to make a phone call today. I am not excited about that, but right now, it's a job! lol I"ll tell ya more either later today at the get together or once I hear more info from the guy who owns the company.

Good morning all, just a quick hello,
Have lots to do today. Our daughter starts her new job tomorrow, kind of a drive away but the pay is good. We'll have more time spent caring for our granddaughters which is my favorite thing to do anyway. The youngest, Samantha, got her first pair of glasses yesterday, she is only 4 and they had to do special tests to figure out her vision. Turns out it is as poor as mine...poor baby. 20/100 in one eye and 20/200 in the other. No wonder she is having trouble in preschool learning her letters, she can't see them.
