Sleep Study
Morning All-
I am going for my sleep study this evening. Should be interesting. I am really not too sure what to expect. I think that my imagination has gotten the best of me and I envision sleeping in a room with people jus****ching me. I know that isn't true. I am going to the Merit Center in Hoffman Estates. Just wondering what kind of experiences others had.

Hi Joy -
Don't get all worked up over it. I have not personally experienced a sleep study but my hubby has had three. He was at a different location then where you will be but he said the room is a very nice like a five star hotel. The only thing he did not like was gunk they put in your hair, he said it's like glue to keep all the wires attached.
You'll be fine.

Hi Joy,
I had a sleep study done pre-op and I did like you, my imagination always gets the best of me. I tell ya it was nothing. Like Christina said the room you have is like a 5-star hotel room really really nice. The people conducting the test are usually very nice and professional. I agree also with Christinas DH that the only thing that was not fun was the gook they put in your hair, it took me a few rounds with shampoo in the shower the next day. Other than that I felt very safe and comfortable. Hope that helps you some!
