A son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?' The father, who despite having a heart condition, says Yes.   They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying 'Yes' to his son's request of going through the race together. One day, the son asked his father, 'Dad, let's join the Ironman together.'

To which, his father said 'Yes'.

For those who didn't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the
BigIsland .

Father and son went on to complete the race together.

OK Carol you had me in tears watching that.  It was the sweetest thing I have ever seen a man do with his father.

Crystal, didn't mean to make you cry....When I saw the video I cried too! What an inspiration for me...especially when I'm sitting here having a pity party by myself!

Thank you Carol for sharing this, I do think it was what I need this morning, As I am feeling sorry for my self today, again Thanks,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Amazing..  It's true but I do have to be reminded from time to time  that thru God, all things are possible.

Thanks for sharing,
