Dawn - I'm so glad to hear everyone is doing good. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! I know what you mean by forgetting about it, I try to every year but no one in my family will let it go, especially my dad.
I can't wait till sunday and meeting everyone...I'm bringing a taco salad.
My friend came through surgery (reconstructive gastric bypass), andis doing good so far. I think her doctor messed up in the beginning, someof the things he was saying before surgery made no sense to me on why he made her wait so long to do this reconstructive surgery. She ended up in the ER last week, after he wouldn't do anything for her for the past month. By this time she was severely dehydrated (peeing brown), and severely malnutritioned (was on a nutrition port in her neck when she finally went home), the regular doctor wouldn't send her home until her Bariatric doc did something, so he finally scheduled her for surgery. The bariartric doc she has is now my doc and I don;t have much faith in him at all, think I will drive back and forth by where I use to live and try a bariatric doc there, since mine moved. She has a had areally rough time with her RNY and doc. Sorry didn;t mean for that to be that long, just frustrated with this doc and don't want him touching me if something was to go wrong. So heading up to Silver Cross Hosp to go visit her later today.
Carol-Hows that new grandson doing?
Monica-I'm about at that point where I have to have my rings downsized.
We didn't get much snow here in Morris, just a light dusting last night. And yes the keyword these days is BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! My feet are always freezing!!!

Hello everyone, I know it's late for roll call but I made it.. Well, it's done. I had my band surgery yesterday and I just returned home today around 11:30. 
I'm a little sore but not in a lot of pain but I'm waiting for my husband to return with my meds. bec. I'm definately going to pop one. So I'm going to take everything slow, remember that this was done for me and take care of myself so that I can get the ultimate benefit which will be a big weight lost, getting off of all of the medication I'm taking and most importantly a longer life span. My prayers are with those of you that are having situations in your lives, I'm sure that at some point you'll also hear mine. I'll check in as often as possible. Linda
