Hi Marci!!
Congrats on your surgery! I am very happy for you and proud of you! This is the first step taken to the "new" you! This will be an amazing journey for you and tons of changes are going to occur. About the pain...yeah its pretty painful. I thought for sure the way we were all talking at the last meeting the last thing you would want to hear is...pain. The next few weeks can be tough to deal with. Just remember you have a brand new digestive system and it takes time for it to adjust to you. It can take up to 3 months or so before things start going down okay. But once you pass 5 months or so, its smooth sailing. Its important to stay in good spirits and when times feel like they are unbearable remind yourself that "this too shall pass!" Reach out to all of us for support during these next few months and you can contact me anytime Marci for support. It will be nice to be able to talk about all the different emotions that may occur.

BTW- I have some older clothes of mine if you are interested in them. What size were you wearing at your surgery? YOu will drop weight so fast new clothes will come in handy.

Eileen, happy to hear you will be there, but of course you will be packed for DISNEY! how exciting is that.
Marci, so glad to hear everything went well! As for pain, I relied on the meds they gave me for that for about 1 week after being home.
It was easier to take the liquid prescription than grind up some Tylenol.
