Good Wednesday Morning!

This is your hump day edition of the morning roll call.  I hope everyone is set to have a great day!  Let's start out with a positive attitude and our day will be wonderful!

I always wanted to say that.  But it generally is true.  We are halfway through the week.  Whats on your agenda for today?  Same old, same old?  For me, the new item is getting my hair done tonight after work.  That is always relaxing.  Tomorrow is a full moon so people will be in rare form on the phones today!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning Illinoisans!

This is a difficult day for me. I have to teach today and yesterday the class found out that one of their fellow students died Monday night from a blood clot. The students had their classes cancelled yesterday and I'm sure they won't be in much shape to be in class today. It's just so sad!

It sounds like many of you are experiencing these same issues with friends and family. This is part of life and now we can't eat over it and dealing seems different now. We all need to be aware and to take care of ourselves in healthy ways.

Do something nice for yourself today and I will too.

((((((Connie))))))

This is such a hard thing to deal with.  I am so sorry for your loss and your student's loss.  When a death comes like this it is such a shock.  To have life end at such a young age is truly a tragedy.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Hello everyone

Oh I'm so glad its Wednesday.  I have to work this weekend so I'm not as happy about the weekend as I usually am.

Well I have a funny story.  Yesterday morning I was called into a meeting with all the Higher up people in the finance department.  We converted to a new system and it has been a nightmare.  They all wanted my input about the major problems in my department.  So I'm sitting there with the director of finance, the controller and the CFO explaining what is going on and even had examples.  I was thinking "hey I'm doing a great job here"  That's when it happened...I dropped my pen on the floor and kept talking as I leaned over in my chair to pick up the pen.  The next thing I know I'm falling out of the chair and laying on the floor.  Needless to say I was soooo embarrassed.  Everyone was very professional and asked if I was ok.  No one laughed.  But I did.  I stood up and just started laughing.    Later I was telling everyone what happened and all friends thought it was so funny.  My boss came over to find out if I was okay and she said "don't scare us like that.  If you get hurt nothing will get done around here"

Anyway I'm hoping to get through the day without any major slips or falls.  Have a nice day.

Dear Crystal,
I commend you for being able to laugh about it.

I fell out of my chair before surgery and it broke.  I felt horrible about the incident, so I am glad that you see the humor in it.

Here's to an accident-free day!

Good morning Illinois.

Sorry I was MIA yesterday, I was so busy, and didn't get to relax till hubby and I went to the show.  We was suppose to go to the Celine DIon concert, but she is sick, and concert got postponed.

I want to go get some craft supplies, but I am broke as usual, so I guess reading is on order today.

Still not sure about the get together.  Do we have to bring stuff to eat, or is is it just a get together?

Blessings,
Dee

Good morning Nancy and the rest of my IL family, Well not much going on with me either, I do have a cold, my first one since surgery, I don't feel too bad but I have a deep cough,
Hope everyone has a good day and stay warm,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
