Hello dear friends,

Sad day for me today. One of my closest friends has lung cancer (1 1/2 yrs since diagnosis), it has spread to her brain. I spoke to her husband today the prognosis is not good and he said things are day by day, that she is going downhill very quickly. I am so sad.  I keep crying.

guess I don't feel much like posting today.......

sad hugs, Paulette

Paulette, so sorry to hear about your friend, The best thing you can do for her is support her family and if you can, stop and see her. I lost a close friend in May, and I can still find myself wanting to call her.

Hugs

Paulette

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend.  My prayer are with you and her family.

My best friend's mom had the same thing happen to her (lung cancer that spread to her brain).  All I can say is to make sure you spend as much time with her as possible.  Celebrate a very nice Christmas with her.

Thank you for your kind words.  I keep praying for a miracle but I don't want her to suffer either.  I'm hoping she makes it through the holidays.  I gave her a hat I knitted for her since she has lost all of her hair, made out of soft baby yarn.

Paulette I am sorry to hear about your friend, Cancer is such a ugly thing, My SIL is fighting it right not and has been for a year, Take care,,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Hi Janet,

Thanks for your kind words.  She was diagnosed Apr 2007 but was sick since beginning of January 2007 with one upper respiratory thing after another, it took them till almost Easter 2007 to figure out it was lung cancer. She has been receiving chemo and radiation for so long now and its effects are devastating.  A month ago they told her she has 3-4 tumors in the brain and are doing radiation, but she is going downhill quickly...thought maybe it was the effects of the radiation.  But this morning her husband told me that the prognosis was not good and basically day by day...

Thank you again, Paulette
