It's seven o clock and where is Roll Call?

I guess I'll start it and someone will probably post at the same time!

As I said yesterday, we've been traveling again. It's nice to be home in my own bed and back on the computer. I've been trying to catch up will you all, but haven't read all the posts.

Hello everyone 

I'm at work.  I'm kind of bummed because I can't style my hair as nicely as the hair stylist.  So its not looking as nice as it was. 

This week I have my weigh-in.  Today I have to work and that's it.  

Connie-  I would love to travel.  My best friend and I are planning a trip to Hawaii for our 40th birthday.  We have a couple more years to go.  The only thing I hate about traveling is sleeping in the beds.  I get grossed out thinking about the sheets and the mattresses.  I have watched way too many crime shows (like CSI).

We watch crime shows too and I never lie down on the bedspread but the sheets have always been clean, if not as smooth as I'd like!

I was running earlier this morning and didn't get a chance to start the roll.  I bought a Magic Bullet knock off made by Bella Kitchen to bring to work.  It was on sale at Kohl's and we had a 30% off coupon to top it off, so it was less than half the cost off the Bullet.  This way I can make protein shakes at work.  I like the Bullet much better, but this works and I couldn't pass up the savings.  For those of you who don't have a Magic Bullet, and are turned off by the price, this is a good alternative.  It seems to blend at a higher speed.  The cups seem to be larger too.  Saturday night, Liz and I went to see Cheech and Chong with Dawn and Todd.  It was a lot of fun.  The comedians have gotten a bit older and weren't as funny as they had been 25 years ago, but hanging out with Dawn and Todd was a treat!  Yesterday was pretty much just cleaning and meal planning.  Both Liz and I made soups.  We don't often work in the kitchen at the same time, but yesterday was nice.  She likes it because when I do dishes, I wash everything that is in the sink.  She is more of a dishwasher loader.  So by the end of the day, the kitchen was very clean.  Now I have 2 different types of soups that I can bring to work this week.  Soup is a good meal for me since it goes down without much trouble.  On Saturday, I bought a new suit to wear over the holidays.  Last night, I tried on several of my other suits and they were huge!  Intrestingly, none of them fit the last time I tried them on (way too small!).  Unfortunately, several of them were $1000+ suites from back when I wore suits to work.  The only one that I'll probably keep and have altered is my tuxedo.  It seems a shame to discard that since it is wool and not something that I use all that often these days.  I'm sure it will cost a bit to alter, but it will probably be cheaper than buying a new one or even renting one the next time I have an event.  For a while there, I was going to many black tie events, but now they seem to be less in fashion.  Have a great day everybody!

Paul I seen the bullet for sale at Sams Club for 59 bucks this week. I have a knock off one and I love it!!!

Hey where is everyone? I am usually like the 10th person to post. My weekend was fun. Shopping and the bulls game on friday was a blast. I was exhausted and just didn't feel right on saturday so I slept all day till 4 when I had to get ready for work. Watched football yesterday and did laundry. Back to the grind today.

Paul, are you going to make the get together on the 23rd? It will be alot of fun. No tie dying though. Sorry!

I'm really glad you set up this party! And Cherry Valley is so easy to get to it will be nice for those coming on the tollway. We are looking forward to it!

Where and what time is the meeting at Cherry Valley. I had RYN on 10/21/08 and would love to meet some  people who have been where I am.

I still need to discuss it with Liz.  We like to go to those types of things.  Is this going to be open to brining children?

Good Morning IL family,
I haven't been posting the last couple of days because I have been so busy around here.  Friday the boys only had 1/2 day of school and Jacob and I finished up the primier on the stairway walls and then Saturday, my sister and neice came over and the 4 of us painted all the walls.  3 of them were blue and one big one is brown.  It took pretty much all day.  Sunday morning Jacob and I gave the brown paint another coat and then I had 12 people come over for a game day.  It was my 2 sisters and their families...it was a great and fun day.  I love having my family over.  We played a fun game called Dicecapades..very long though.   My one neice's little girl was terrified of the dogs when they first got here and by the end of the night she was actually going up to them and petting them!  It made her mommy very happy. 
Today the boys have no school and tomorrow they don't either.  I don't plan on doing much today, other than picking Tyler up from wrestling practice which officially started today.  Tomorrow I have to go for a follow up mammogram at Alexian Brothers for that lump they found when I was in the hospital.  Please pray that it hasn't grown and it's stable.  I am very nervous, though I don't know why.
