Sunday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Well I cut my hair yesterday.  I went really short and I really like the cut.  I also had to color my hair.  I think I went too dark.  Usually I go a brownish red but this time I went much darker.  I'm not so sure I like it.  Oh well.  I know I will definitely get some comments tomorrow at work. 

I'm not doing anything today.  I'm going to relax and take it easy.

Good morning!  Okay, we want pics...lol  I went to dark on my hair also this week.  My natural hair color is very dark brown, but I have a lot of GREY hair saying hello lately...lol  I got a light brown, but it made it dark, guess I should have went with a dark blonde.  I also have a lot of red in my hair.

My day...Church, Football, and nothing else.

 Good Morning Illinois.

I got my hair cut about a month ago, and it is still only about 1 inch long. The hairdresser  didnot listen to what I wanted. The only good thing about it, it takes less then 5 min to do in the morning, and I wont have to go again until after Xmas. I will not have it this short again!!!

yesterday I did get a few more Xmas gifts bought. Also went to a tapas bar for lunch. Lots of fun. What a differance from the last few Xmas's. for the last few years almost everything was ordered, since I really couldn't get around. Between my heart problems and weight, I was doomed! Now i look forward  to the malls (I must be crazy) and all of the shopping it intales. I will never enjoy the crowds, but shopping is fun again. I did get a new winter jacket for me. It was $ 160, but it was on sale for $80. The one from last year I was drowning in.

Today is laundry, dinner, and working on a few projects. and relaxing with Nascar.

Good morning friends!

We are home again! Turks and Caicos was beautiful but they expect  hurricane Paloma tomorrow so we were glad our week was over and the planes were on time and we got back without an adventure. Kay learned to sail and also got to  snorkle several times. I got to hang out and chat with friends and read books and knit--my kind of vacation. Did fine with food, only had one PB and that was because I wasn't paying attention. It was wonderful to be able to do the walking I needed to do without exhaustion. I even went in the ocean, but wasn't too thrilled with that. I'm not a water girl--but I did put on a bathing suit!

Dawn and I are speaking to my class tomorrow. They will be interested and I know it will go well. The rest of the week I will be playing catch-up.  

As for today--can you say LAUNDRY? We did the mail last night and a weeks worth of newspapers are on the dining room table!

Good morning.. this must of been a week for "change".. I colored by hair on Tuesday and it turned out more on the red side then I planned but I really like it.  Calvin hates it.. He calls me "big red".  I don't care.
I'm at work, will be for a few more hours then I have nothing else planned for the day.  Tomorrow I'm off at both jobs.. YIPPEE, SKIPPEE..  I did request off at Outback on the 23rd.  Hope to see/meet lots of people.  Unless Calvin is working by then, he will join me.

Hello to All!

After my complete knee replacement back at the beginning of April, I cut 10-3/4 inches off my hair and decided I wasn't going to color it anymore, well I did good with that for about 7 months, I had so much gray and with looking for a job someone toldme I looked much older and haggeredly (thanks mom).  So I went to finally get a much needed cut and color.  I went to a place in Oswego (new place for me), I had asked for the gals who did my sons girlfriends hair, well when I got there they gave me someone completely different.  I showed her the color I wanted a deep auburn and I gave her a pic of my hair when I first got it cut short.  Well lets put it this way I wasted $105 (was shocked at price), I had to end up driving back into Bourbonnais go to the gal who does my hair and admit to cheating and have her fix it.  Well we had to go really really short to be able to make look good and the color was Reba McEntire red shoot it wasn't red it was more orange.  Well Katie fixed it all and made it all good again.  I promised her I would never stray again...lol   She totally understood I was trying to find someone closer now that I had moved.  But I'm totally prepared to make that hour drive for a good cut & color and she only charges me $65.  So it was an expensive lesson learned.  Ok enough for that novel!

Going to my mom & dads for dinner and to help my dad set up his surround sound.  Thats about it!

I'm looking so forward to meeting everyone on the 23rd!!!!!
