Opinions on hospitals

I am getting ready for surgery 11/21----I had been planning on surgery at Evanston hospital and heard today that it may be at highland hospital,  I am a heavier bariatric patient with a high bmi---I had heard that evanston is equipped to deal with the larger patients, what do you know?

I JUST had surgery at Highland Park on 10-29-2008.  I was very very happy with all the care and staff.  I am not sure how large you are, I was 325 and had no problems with anything size wise.  My Dr. said I was the poster child for the surgery though.  I do not know if this helps or not but I did have a great experience, just remember if you need something ASK (boing a medical professional I know we are not mind readers!!)

I had surgey at evanston which is now noth shore. I was 364 when I went they had single rooms with the bigger beds(the ones with the bar to help you sit up.) I just went there again for my tummy tuck and they were way better than before as well. I was there oct 8th. good luck to you
