Good morning Illinois.  I am not sure what is good about it, can anyone tell me what sleep is?  I am so tired,  I am beginning to think it is the antibiotics I am on, can they keep a person awake?  Does anyone know?

It is suppose to be nice in my area today, I think grabbing a book and sitting outside is on call for today.  DH got all are fall garden stuff done for me, and after trick or treating last night, it was so nice we took down our halloween decorations.  Now on to thanksgiving.  UGH, before you know it the year will be over, and we will have a new president.

I think I am off to take a shower, and will try to jump on later.  I also have some halloween pics I need to download.

Blessings,
Dee

Good morning Dee!

I don't know if antibiotics can keep you u*****t....haven't had any in a long time. I slept really good tthe last two nights after taking the kiddies back home.

I hope it's nice out today...I'm already sick of cold weather and winter hasn't even started. Today I'll put up Thanksgiving decorations and put away the Halloween ones.

Hope you have a great day!

Good Morning Dee and the whole of Illinois,

It it i finally getting light out, thand goodness.
I am so happy that we will be changing time tonight! I want to wake up to daylight. Boy, for the first day of Noveber, it is going to be a warm one. CBS said its to get up to the mid 60's. Normal is around 37. Let it stay not normal.

Yesterday I did get my house cleaned, except for one bedroom, and all my errands done except for food shopping. I won't get that stuff done until tomorrow, since we are going to Emerson Creek Tea Room today.

With it being daylight when the kids started  begging last night, we only had a few before we had to leave to go to dinner. So, I have candy left. I think it will be going to work with me on Monday, and if clients bring kids with them, I will give it out. One more thing on my desk. At least it won't be in the house for us to nibble on. I can't give it to my DGD, she has braces andyou know she won't let it melt in her mouth.

Today is All Saints Day for some and Day of the Dead for our Latino friends.

Get out and enjoy this day,

Hugs

Good Morning Illinois,

Getting ready to head out the door to take my mom back home.

We had quite a few trick or treaters last night but still have candy leftover, so I think I will send it home with my mom.  At 83 pounds she can eat it, although it will probably last her until Christmas.

Have a great weekend everyone.
Hugs, Paulette

Oh, man did we have trick or treaters last night. In fact, we came home from our trick or treating and there was a line on our front stoop!

I still didn't get rid of all of our candy, though. We have a bit left. I walked by the bowl this moning and stuck my tongue out at it, but I bet it will get its revenge later, when the day is winding down and so am I!

We're off to the Adler Planetarium with the kiddos today. Should be fun!

Have a good day all!

Hello everyone

I hope everyone had a nice Halloween.  I don't get any trick or treaters because I live in an apartment.  So I spent my evening running errands and doing more Christmas shopping.  I'm almost done.  There will always be a couple things I pick up here and there.  But mostly I'm done.  I'm really a big Christmas person.  The kid in me gets really excited.  I know some people think its crazy but starting today Lite FM (93.9 ?) starts their 24hr a day Christmas songs.  I love Christmas songs.  As a kid I was always in the choir.  Maybe that will be something I will do again???  Am I talking to much about Christmas???  Well I guess you can see how excited I get.

Have great day

Good Morning Dee and my IL family,

Dee I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time with all of this.  I am not sure if antibiotics can affect your sleep, but it's a drug so I don't see why not.

Today I have nothing at all planned.  I took the boys to the other sides yesterday and then came home and finished passing out candy.  The dogs scared a couple of kids..we had the main door wide open with the screen door closed and locked.  We open up the screen part so we could hand out the candy that way.  Well the dogs would sit at our feet until they heard the kids at the door and then jump up!  lol  It was funny.  They didn't bark at anyone and licked anyone who let them!

I hope everyone has a good day...it's kinda gloomy here right now

Monica

Hello My Illinois friends!

Dee, antibiotics should not keep you awake, the medicine may be bothering your stomach and therefore making it hard to sleep.

You can PM me and I will get you specific information on the exact medication you are taking. Hopefully you will be soon off the meds and this will no longer be an issue.

How was everyone Halloween? I know many of you have little ones, what costumes did your kids pick to wear?

My night was quiet, most of the 20+ kids on my street are in college or just out of college. We did have about 10 kids. It was fun to hand them handfuls of candy each. I still have 3 large bags of candy, these will go to work so I am not tempted.

Anyone eat Halloween candy? I nearly had a Reese's peanut butter cup- as I saw the sugar carbs were only 8grams-  5 grams of fat and 2 grams protein. I know that one would not be enough and soon I would need to eat 5- making me very sick . SO I RESISTED! and put them out of site.

I am off to O'Hare to drop my hubby off, he is traveling to Boston to see my son. This was last minute trip and I would have gone if I had time to make arrangements for my kitty and pup. I heard it was around 20 degrees there BRRRRRRR.

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone.

Good Morning Dee and Illinois

I am up and moving around this morning at a leisurely pace.  I just talked to one of my sisters who has her grand kids staying with her for the week.  There are 3 and 1.  The 3 year old is a hoot.  She got on the phone and told me she voted for "Rock Obama"  then she told me she was going to vote for John McCaine.  When my sister got back on and she asked me if I understood the conversation I said yes, she likes Barak Obama but her granddad told her she should vote for John McCaine so she then told me that was who she would vote for.   Her parents are McCaine fans so we dont know where the Obama fan has come from but her Aunt in New Orleans is delighted that she has an ally in the family!

I just get the biggest kick out of kids.  We had a bunch of them come trick or treating at our office yesterday.  They were so cute.  Ourt team came in third in the decorating contest.  We were pleased.  There were many good ideas and I really did not expect us to place at all.  The competition was stiff this year.

I did not do trick or treat last night.  I felt guilty but did not get home until half way through the trick or treat hours.  I also did not want the candy to tempt me.  I missed it.  Maybe next year I will do it again.

Dee, I hope you get some sleep.  Antibiotics always make me very sleepy not the opposite.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Just found this on mayo clinic website...so some antibiotics do cause insomnia.

Hopefully it will get better for you soon
