Happy Halloween Roll Call

I hope everyone has fun with their families today. I live in an apartment so one thing I miss out on is passing out candy. We are having a costume contest here at work. i can't wait to see everyone's costume. I am going to wait till next year to dress up as anything. Hopefully I will be much thinner. One year I went as a dead house wife. What have been your favorite costumes?
Tonight I am going to run a few errands after work and come home and relax and watch scary movies on TV.
I hope everyone has a SPOOOKY day.
Yes it is the day for spooking and fun!

Hope Everyone has a great Halloween!

It looks like all the kids will have a great night to go out and beg treats. Its looking like a great day for us too. I am going to try and get most of my weekend stuff done today, since tomorrow I am going out with my girls.
We are going to Emerson Creek Pottert and Tea Room in Osweago for lunch tomorrow. I try to take each of them out for lunch sometimes around thier birthdays. It is something I started when they moved away from home. Just us girls, no guys allowed.
I do have errands to

Have a great day.

In other news, I've been visiting a massage therapy school and it looks like I will start an intensive 10 month training program in January. After that, I will sit for the national boards and apply for a license. I'll start a private practice in the beginning while continuing to work in IT. But if I can build up enough clients, I would love to switch careers in the next couple of years. Between my Reiki training, my years of nutritional studies and the massage therapy, I'll have a lot to offer in the healing fields. Watch for updates over the next year!
Have a great Halloween and a terrific weekend!

Happy Halloween to all of you who celebrate it!
I don't do it but my favorite costume was done by a friend of Kay's who came as a picnic. She took a red checked plastic table cloth, cut a hole for her head and glued picnic stuff on it including plastic ants! I think that would be a hoot to do!
I also have lots of errands today--not my favorite thing and also hope to get in some knitting with my knitting friends.
Food has been kind of sticking recently even being careful--not sure what that's about but it's not bad enough to get some taken out. I just need to eat more slowly and pay more attention. What seems to stick is meat and fish--of course I could get down a doughnut with no problem. What a deal!
Have fun today!

I did not dress in costume for work today, but I have orange and black on.
My favorite costume had to be when Todd and I dressed as the Big, Bad Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood. I borrowed a red cape with a hood from a friend and we dressed Todd as the wolf in grandma's clothing, with fake black nails, brown hair glued onto his face and hands and a granny nightgown. It was a riot! The other great one was when Todd was the Green Giant and Olivia was about 2 or 3 and she was the "Little Sprout". It was a great costume, especially when they were together.
Amber has the day off today and I think she is bringing the kids here to work to "Trick-or-Treat" this afternoon. I'm looking forward to seeing them, as always.
At home, my kids are supposed to clean up the yard then get ready for the trick-or-treaters. Todd wants to have a fire in the backyard tonight, and that is always fun. I am glad that the weather has warmed up a bit.
Tomorrow, I am looking forward to a sort of family reunion. My 80 year old aunt that raised me for a time after my mom died and her daughter and my brother are all driving into Rockford so we can meet for dinner. I have not seen my aunt and this cousin for close to 8 years. My brother and I had a great talk a couple of weeks ago when I was there and we are going to try to act more like family. My brother has not even MET Riley yet, and my kids were about her age last time we were all together. I am pretty stoked about the whole thing.
Of course, we can't do ANYTHING until after the first round play-off game which is set for 2:30 tomorrow afternoon----GO DAKOTA!!!!
Everyone have a spooky, treat filled day!
