Good morning Monica and Illinois!
While the children are still sleeping I thought I'd post a quick note.
Thanks to all of you on the congrats and beautiful baby posts! It's hard to find time to read let alone post. They are going home today then I will have to catch up on all the posts. I'm glad I don't have small ones again....I would be crazy. I'm too old for toddlers all day and all night long. God bless those in daycare as they have a special touch...I couldn't do it.
Tomorrow is Halloween and hopefully it is a bit warmer for the little ones. We don't get any trick or treaters here so there is less temptaion for me as I have no candy laying around.

LOL This made me chuckle Carol, because while my kids are still 12 and 14 I don't want to do it again either! LOL I love all the stages that kids go through, well except the pre teen one that Jacob is in right now, but I laugh when I think of my ex who has a baby due in Feb with his fiance! lol I cannot imagine starting over when my youngest is 12! lol Better him than me, that's what I say

Good morning Monica and the rest of Illinois!
It did seem a tiny bit warmer this morning and the stars were absolutely beautiful when I left for work this morning. I love being able to see millions of them right out my back door.
Tonight is parent/teacher conferences for us. Our school does student led conferences and this will be Liv's first time so it will be interesting to she how she handles it. David has been doing it for the past 3 years, so he is a pro. We also have a way to keep track of their grades online, so there will be no surprises.
After that, the boys have Scouts and Liv and I will just hang out. Tomorrow, they are off of school and they will need to mow and rake to start putting the yard to bed for the winter.
I hope everyone enjoyes their day!

Hi everyone. I am gearing up for the busy work weekend. I work a Wedding Reception Friday from 3pm to midnight (who the heck has a reception on Halloween, creepy), bartend a 90th birthday on saturday and bartend at the bowling center on sunday. I hate bartending 3 days in a row, but the boys are at their dad's all weekend so making money is better than cleaning house. WOW moment today...... 180! Yea. I go to the doctor today for my 2 week follow up on the 2nd band surgery. Hopefully, I will learn more about my new band.

Good Morning Monica and my Illinois family,
Me posting two days in a row, kind of a shocker isn't it? I used to post daily and then life got in the way. I am trying so hard to get back on track. OH Illinois & OH-OFF are two of the things that fell by the wayside during this chaotic time in my family. But I need my OH friends in my daily life to keep me on the right track. I've missed all of you. I was 241.2 on the scale this am, so that was a good morning wake up for me. Monday it was 243..I was afraid I'd started regaining what I'd lost so far. But Monday I also started working my food journal again the correct way but realized I'm missing my support group too, so hopefully the scale will start moving in the right direction again.
