Good morning Dee and the rest of my IL family,
Last night we went to dinner for my Son's Birthday, then home, Today not much going  on, I have to run to walmart and get my new script of Thyroid pill every three month we are having to lower the dose,
We don't get any trick or treaters here just my grand kids, I won't be doing to much as that morning I am having my foot surgery, but I will be making the kids bags up tomorrow and I will be getting pic of them when they come over,
Hope every one has a good day and stay warm,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good Morning Dee and everyone.

On a good Halloween, we may get 40 little trick or treaters. Here they start around 6 and go to 8. We probly won't be home to long on Friday, since we go out to dinner  on Fridays.

Yes it is cold. I didn't want to get out of bed either. But its off to work and clients all day. Only a few more days to the time change, and waking up to light, instead of dark.

Congrats to Carol and her new Grandson.

Hugs to all

Good morning Dee and IL  friends.

Carol, congrats on your new grandson. He's so cute!

I will be in LA for Halloween at the OH 10th year anniversary celebration all weekend. We're having a costume party on Friday night. Well, I have a witches hat, black cape with purple spiderwebs on it, black dress and a black mask. I bought some long fake eyelashes to wear. It's held at a beautiful hotel in LA called Kyoto. It looks like and plush from their website. I'm going to meet OH posters from other states like eggface, melting mama and sarahlicious! Talk about some inspiration!

Tonight's boxing class for me! YAY!!! I need to do some punching. These long dark nights are getting to me. It's too lonely when you're single and alone.

Wishing everyone a wonderful and stay warm Wednesday.

Hugs,
Lucy

Good morning Dee and Illinois!

Yesterday was really hectic! I forgot what getting small children ready is like. It's not a 10 minute thing....imagine I used to get three kids ready daily.....that was soo many years ago. We got to the hospital and had an hour to wait for Hayden's arrival.  We were waiting in a play area for the kids and they were told that when you hear a lullaby playing that will mean your baby brother has been born. When the lullaby played  Ava thought she could hurry to the room and see him. Got a little upset that it took daddy too long to come and get us.

Everyone got to hold him and kiss him. Vince was really taken with his new brother. He didn't want to give him up. They watched him get a bath. Took pictures with Clifford the big red dog. Had lunch, visited more with mommy. They were surprised when they came back from lunch and Uncle Dan was there holding the baby.

Left the hospital, came to my house printed out a few pictures and went to support group. They came with me and proudly showed off pictures of the baby. When we got home last night Ava was sobbing. She missed mommy and Hayden. I promised her she could call and talk to mommy and that I would take her home tomorrow. They only keep them 24 hours in the hospital, not like the olden days when you stayed three days. All in all they were very well behaved for having to be quiet all day!

At the support group last night I met both Crystal and Angie.
I hope to see them again and again! It really is soo nice to put real face with the avatar faces.

I think that's enough for today...hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good morning Dee and the rest of Illinois!

I had a heck of a time getting going this morning.  I was sleeping on my good side, so my deaf side did not hear the alarm.  Todd kept nudging me, but I was not understanding.  I wanted to stay where it was nice and warm.

Last night, I got my aunt all set to move into her new place at the end of November, after she gets back from New Orleans.

David was out selling wreaths for the Boy Scouts (anyone in Rockford need one?) and then they all went downtown for tacos.  I stayed home and rode the stationary and finished the book I was reading.

Nothing exciting for tonight, just hanging out with my family.

I guess I should stop and get some treats for the kids that will be coming by on Friday.  We get a few, but the town is pretty small, so not as many as I usually think.

Riley, Devon and Amber will be stopping by here at work to show us their costumes, so I have to make up some treats for them too.

Everyone stay warm!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good Morning to my IL family,
It's way too cold for me already and it's not even gotten "cold" yet.  LOL  I still have no winter coat either.  I got candy for Halloween at the store the other day and I have to admit, this is going to be a hard "holiday" for me.  I was a HUGE sweets eater and Halloween was always my favorite....BUT I have been doing so good with the weight loss I will be okay.  We have to take all 3 boys to the other sides on Friday, so I am not sure how it will work. either one of us will stay home and the other one do the driving or we'll both go and leave a bowl of candy and a sign outside.  We've done that before with NO problems at all.  I love to see the kids dressed up, but I hate opening the door all the time when it's cold out!  lol
Today I have nothing planned at all....except to stay warm
Have a great day all

Monica

Good Morning Everyone!!

Like everyone else I didn't want to get out of my warm bed this morning and neither did Princess Tillie (my corgi).  She grumped alittle when I said lets get up.

Today will be a house cleaning day, its the only day I have to get it done and we have company saturday and sunday, so thats what I'm doing.  Oh and I have to go get my DH's birthday gift, tomorrow is his birthday.  He likes the Family Guy so I'm getting him a DVD series.

I got to meet Carol and Katie last night at support group, looking forward to getting to know them better and I can't wait to meet many more of you.  Carol's grandkids are so well behaved, shoot you didn't even now they were there unless you seen them.

I'm not sure how many trick or treaters we get here at the new house, I've asked afew neighbors and no one can give me a approx guess.  So I will go to the store later today and buy afew big bags so I know I have enough.  Tillie and I are going to sit at the end of the drive-way, with my carved pumpkins lit and pass out candy.  I love seeing all the kids dress-up and how excited the little ones get.  And yes I'm one of those ppl who make the kids say trick or treat before I give them candy.  Last year I was surprised how many kids actually said "Thank you", you can tell the kids whose families practice manners.  When mine trick or treated and forgot to say thank you, I  made them march right back to the door and say "thank you".  One year my youngest decided he wasnt going to say thank you anymore, and didn't believe me when I told him if he didn't say it, we would go home, he didn't have much candy that year.

JUST SAY NO TO SNOW!!!!

Hugs,
Angie

Hello all my Illinois friends,

I thought I'd say hello and write a quick note.  things are very hectic here...what else is new???
My mom has been here since Saturday and I have had the girls alot, Dh has been working at our daughters house. Daughter & SIL meet at the lawyers today to go over the paperwork.

I am really struggling right now to get back on track and getting very down about it.  I see my Nut next Monday and she will not be happy as I have not managed to accomplish one thing on my plan she set up for me at the last visit. Looks like the scale has crept up this month too.. Yesterday I was 243, up 3 pounds since last month.   I know what I need to do just can't seem to get it in gear and do it.

Monday my daughter was here and asked what can we do to help you get back on track? So I know my family has noticed too.  I seem to have forgotten how to eat healthy and appropriately.

Hugs to all, Paulette

I have noticed my nut has a small piece of paper with maybe a dozen things on it to ask about. She always seems surprised that she does not find any caffeine in my FitDay logs.

I have been busy getting a year older and getting back on track.  The Hudson family tragedy has had me down a bit.  I said a little about it in my randy7771026 YouTube Monday video.  Along with a daily video I have been trying to play thirty minutes to an hour on my Wii each day.  Keeping the hands busy slows down their ability to put food in the mouth.  The salt, eggs, shrimp, flour and sugar seem to have begun moving out of my system.  It happened quicker than I thought it would so I get to move my tracker down a pound today.

I am always glad to be over the Hump of humpday but miss folks saying Wednesday as I always love seeing wed nes  day in print for some reason.  Must have had a good teacher for that spelling word.
