Good morning Illinois, and happy hump day to those of you that work.  Everyone ready for halloween.  I know we will have some special trick or treaters, and I will try to get pictures of them.  In Wood River, we have trick or treating on Thursday and Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Everyone stay warm today!  I saw where some states are already getting snow, I am not ready for that.

Blessings,
Dee

Morning Dee & IL -
I'm already at work.  Ugh!  Oh well, I'm glad to have a job even if it's not what I want to be doing.  I have to work at Outback Friday night so I'm going to miss the kids tricker treating.  I hate that!  I really do enjoy seeing all the kids and the neighbors before winter comes.

Not too much going on here.  Just another day in paradise.

Morning Dee and Illinois

It is another chilly morning hill!  Brr it is hard to get out of bed when the cats are snuggling so nicely and keeping me warm.

I am going to have to miss trick or treat this year.    I have to work late.  I am disappointed.  I love to see the kids all dressed up.  I am in a neighborhood where we usually get about 100 kids.  At least I wont have to have candy in the hose to tempt me.  Our city has it trick or treat hours from 5 - 7 which isn't very condusive to working parents.

I am glad it is hump day.  Althought work has been fun this week.  Our teams have a decorating contest for halloween and we keep adding something each day.  It is starting to look really cool.  It is amazing what you can come up with when you get a bunch of people thinking.

Hope everyone has a great day!  Stay warm!

Hello everyone

It was a cold morning...brrrr.  It's even cold here at work.  I'm here at work wishing it was Friday.  I went to the support group at Silver Cross last night.  I met Carol and her two cute grandchilren.  I also saw pictures of her new grandbaby.

Nancy- One year at Christmas we had a cubicle decorating contest.  My cube mate and I turned our cube into Santa's workshop.  We won the contest.  That was back when work was fun.

I hope every one has a great day.

I will have to make a point of looking for you next time.  Last night was crazy there were so many people.

By the way do either you or Carol have Cherish's email address?

I was wondering the same thing, cause I don't have her email addy either.  Last night was my first support group in this area and I couldn't believe how many people there was.  I'm use to only maybe 5-15 people, I hav eto admit I like the smaller support group I use to go to, makes it more personable.  But it was still a very informative meeting, at least for me it was.  The dr. I had and nut have us at 80 grams of protein a day not 60.  I think I will stick to the 80 grams seems healthier to me.  I'm sure when I see Dr. Joyce for the first time friday, he is going to wan tme to change alot of things, I'm finding out he does things alot differently than the Dr's I was going to in Kankakee.    I intend on going to the next support meeting, so I hope I'll get to meet you then.  I noticed your in Oswego, I live in Morris now.

Have a great evening!

I drive through Morris (on Rt 47) on my way to visit my daughter in Champaign.  I love Morris.  When I was kid my grandma would take us to see the locks.  We also would come every year to the 4th of July parade (I think that's the parade I went to)  we would alway go downtown Morris to this little bakery and get some yummy donuts.  I wonder if that little bakery is still there???  Maybe one of these days I will stop off and try to find it.

Good morning!

Yes it is cold, but it's that time of year. Halloween is one holiday we don't celebrate. Usually we go out to dinner at a place that will not be in costume and keep the house dark.

I am looking forward to interviewing potential med students today. It makes for a different week when my schedule changes this much.

Have a great day!
