Hi Krissy and WELCOME to the Illinois board!
I am in the same boat as you, pretty much. Today is my 2 year surgiversary and I stopped losing at 10 months.
At my check up, the doctor said that I am a success because I have kept the 85-90 pounds off since my highest weight and have not gained back like I would have in the past. He IS correct about that.
I usually feel pretty good about the whole thing, but sometimes, I get upset, feeling let down. No one can seem to tell me why nothing I do matters. (See my profile for the long drawn out story.....) I am trying to look at myself as a success because I am MUCH healthier and at less risk for obesity related dangers.
I will be interested to see if you get any other answers. In the mean time, keep your chin up and be proud of how far you have come. Keep with the program to avoid re-gain and even though you can eat anything, stay away from the stuff that you know has no nutritional value to your body.
Keep exercising too, it helps with the mental part of things. I know that I feel better all around when I exercise.

Hi, my name is Aleece and I was three years out in June. I originally lost 100 and put back 36. I am working to get going again. All the same rules apply as early on. No drinking 30 min. prio to or after a meal. Protein first, then veggies, then fruit, then grains. We also need to keep exercising. That will help. Also there is a 5 day pouch test that helps jumpstart you. Look up 5DPT on line and the name Kaye Bailey. I am doing my 5DPT right after Thaanksgiving and I will be planning soon so I have everything on hand and will have no excuses. Keep watching the boards. There is a lot of great info out there.

Christina,
I Love Christmas lights. I am planning a train trip up to downtown Chicago for the 20th of Dec just to see the decorations! I hate winter though, with the weight loss I am so cold and the bus is like a cold tin can on wheels....BURRRRRRRRR!!!!!! I need a desk job and a space heater!!!
