Monday Roll Call
Good Afternoon Carla and the rest of my IL family,,

For me we had a very busy weekend and this morning I have be busy busy busy as a
Now I am drinking my second pot of 
I only have a 4 cup pot so I guess that is not too bad,
Not much else going on here today just cleaning and stuff getting everything done I am having my other foot surgery done on Friday so I will be layed up for a few days, Next week I am going to see a Plastic surgeon and get the ball rolling on getting some of this skin removed,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Burr it was cold this morning. I'm at work on my lunch just finished a protien shake and cup of broth. Well 2 more days and I'm joining you on the losing side of life.
A little stressed trying to be sure my job is covered while I'm out but it will be ok. Hope I've remembered everything.
Tonight I have to finish the alterations on a bridesmaid's gown before my surgery. It's nearly done but I want the owner to try it on again as there is something I'm not settled on with one of the hems on one of the 4 layers I had to hem. If it's not right then it shouldn't take much to fix it the way I want it.
I've got a quilt to finish and a few boa's to knit while I'm off. If I feel ok then I'd like to work on a string quilt for my step son for Christmas but have no idea how bad or good I will feel.
I've only had one other surgery in my life and I did very well with that.
Anyway, I have a small suitcase with my slippers and robe, the normal cosmetics and personal hygiene things. Thought I'd take a book but it appears they keep you petty busy walking at the hospital. Any other advice or thoughts on what I should take or not take to the hospital?

I am wishing you an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery.
The one thing I needed in the hospital was lip balm. My lips were so dry. I took a couple of magazines, but it turned out that I was not really up for reading. When I was awake, I went for walks, then came back to settle in for naps.

Good Afternoon Everyone!!!
BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
I have decided to stay inside today, I've noticed with this weight loss I get cold very easily and stay cold. I'm not ready for this cold weather like alot of folks. My poor son is complaining because he has gotten acustomed to the cooler house and now I have the heat going and he is dying from being so warm, he said he is not even looking forward to summer and me not having the air as low as I use to keep it.
Carla-Don't wait too long to go see your Dr. I hope you get to feeling better!!!
Dee-I'm a POGO addict. Turbo 21, Word Whoomp & Lottso are my games of choice, waht are yours? Thank you for the reply post (Tub!!!). I hope your wounds heal ASAP!!
Monica-Which POGO games do you play? I hope things get less stressful for you, I know we don't know each other, but if you ever need someone to listen or get together with I'm here for you also!!! Good luck with the painting!!
Carol-I'll be praying for an easy birth of that new little one. I can't wait for grandkids!!!
Lucy-I'm so glad you are feeling better. Have a safe and fun trip!! And I think a get together would be a great idea before the bad weather hits. I know I would love to meet everyone!!!

Wendi-I couldn't imagine not seeing my family for that long. This will be a really nice visit for you. And I know how excited I get when someone I haven't seen since before my surgery is going to get to see the new & improved me.
Dawn-Thanks for the reply post (Tub!!!) I'm also having to go get glasses and I've been putting it off for about 6 months, I will also need bi-focals (UGH). Regardless of not making your goal I think you look GREAT and from your post you sound so healthy, you and quite afew others in the Illinois forum are an inspiration to me.
