Saturday Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois. I woke early this Saturday morning, I have lots to do, and I don't want to be all day doing it.
Yesterday, I seen the Dr for my 1 year checkup ( see other post), went to Sams for a couple of things (came out with spending $140), then to Home Depot (not saying how much we spent there). Took our daughter to lunch for her birthday, came home and went out to dinner.
Today is catch up day. What are your plans for this last Saturday in October?

Plans....I make many of them, let's see what I can actually accomplish today!
I plan on trying to get a flu shot somewhere today, get my hair cut and colored (it's overdue!) and do some fall-ish stuff with the kids but the yucky weather is keeping us fom the apple-picking and zoo trips we were contemplating. Oh, yeah, and vote early today!
I'd love to squeeze in a workout, too, but I might just be dreaming on that one! I'd like to send out our Halloween cards to the kids in our life...I'd love to visit two newbie DSers in their hotel or hospital (see if they got dischaged yet) but that may have to wait until tomorrow.

I am on the computer early today as I got up with the boys to make them banana muffins for their drive to camp.
Lisa, glad to hear that your docotr visit was positive and hopefully, your issues are now in the past. Good for you to have a goal so close. Good luck, I'm sure you can do it.
Glad to see that Lucy's issues may also be clearing up.
I left work early yesterday to take my aunt to look at a senior apartment. She liked it and they have something open that she can move into on December 1st! Most of the time there are long waiting lists for this kind of thing, so I am taking it as a good sign. If we DO have to move her at the end of the November, it will make for a very busy week and weekend. Liv's play will go into technical and dress rehearsals the weekend after Thanksgiving and then the performances are the first weekend in December. She will have one performance on Friday, December 5th, 2 on Saturday the 6th and 1 or 2 on Sunday. I don't have times yet, but I will let you know as soon as they let us know.
Today, I am going to try to make some Mango-Habanero hot souce, horseradish and maybe some pesto. Actually, these things may take all weekend.
That's about it for me today.

Dawn do you ever stop, I wish I had some of your energy. My mom does alot of canning and stuff like you do, but me I neer really got into that. I just reap the rewards from mom. Trust me I appreciate it.
As for me today, Elijah has bowling an hour away at noon, then we will visit with my mom and dad for abit. And since he decided he didn't need that new coat we are heading back up to Fox Valley Mall to return it. Tomorrow its down to Arthur Illinois to the Great Pumpkin Patch (cant wait).
Well I hope one and all has a Great weekend!!! STAY WARM!!!

I am going to my daughters and help build a deer hunting stand!
My SIL had me meet them at Home Depot last night to get the items needed. Well this guy is as handy with hammer as I would be with a stethoscope! I told him what he needed from the paper he had. Poor guy did not even have complete details on this. Today should be fun!!!! He got some really nice power tools from his mommy last yr and he wants to play with them....See he was a boarding school boy and holds a hammer like a little girl!
Lucy and Lisa pleas take care of yourselves, now that you are on the road to feeling better.

I was out already this morning; went to my weigh****chers meeting. Now I'm thinking of going to see the Beverly Hills Chihuanana movie (my spelling!). Tomorrow, my sister is visiting.
Then packing for my trip to OH LA event on Friday for Halloween weekend. YAY!!
Boy, it's darn cold and nasty outside.

It's a *****illy out there today......can't wait for the next two days to pass for it to return to the 60's. My hands and feet get soo cold. I've got socks and slippers on!
Not much going on here except baby watch! Any day now....I really thought she was going in Thursday night.....not....maybe today? hopefully....tho it doesn't matter when he's born, but that he's born healthy!
