Psych visits ??????
I know I will need a psych eval before surgery. However, the wellness center where I am going for the medically supervised weight loss requirement already has me seeing a nut and a pa or np each time I go and now they want to toss in seperate psych visits for behavior modification. Did the rest of you have to do this and if so how many visits? Seems to me this is just a milking of the insurance company and my own pocket book.

I'm still new to all of this. But I did have my psych evaluation and I only needed to go to the one visit. I didn't need to go to more than one. I know I'm sick of all these doctor appointments and I hate going to the doctor. I just try to focus on the end result. Maybe every program is different and yours requires more than one psych appointment.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
