Wednesday Roll Call

Good morning Illinois!  I haven't posted in a day or two, so I thought I would get the ball rolling.  My St. Louis trip is turning into a disaster thanks to the phone company and their inability to do anything logically.  I submitted requests last Tuesday for installs and now they are telling me that they are not sure if they can have it done by Friday since they require 5 days notice.  When I pointed out that I gave them 10 days notice, they said that even though they received my paperwork, they didn't get around to processing it until last Friday.  I pointed out that that was still seven days out, but then she said that since we were talking on Tuesday, it was only three days away.  Never mind that they sat on it for all that time!  So now I've already bought non-refundable plane tickets, and have an entire office ready to move with no data or phone lines!!!  It's enough to drive a sane man crazy, and I've never claimed to be sane in the first place!  Have a great day!  Paul

Paul, I just love companys explanations for their screw ups!    It's funny how they expect you to think that it is believable and logical not to mention to accept the inconvenience that they are causing.  Good luck to getting this resolved.  Have you asked to speak to the higher ups?

I am ready for a new day.  However I am listening to my radio and they are talking about snow and blizzard conditions in Kansas!  Yikes! I am so not ready for that kind of weather. 

My cat lucked out on her vet appointment last night -- the vet was sick.  Now she goes in on Thursday. 

I am glad it is hump day.  I thought I was bad but I talked to someone on the phone yesterday and she was already anticipating the weekend on Tuesday morning!

Hello everyone   

Well I'm done with all of my cardiac appointments.  Hopefully the cardiologist releases me for surgery.  I still need to sleep with the pulse-ox machine.  They were supposed to contact me but that was over a week ago.  So today I'm contacting them and finding out what the hold up is.  I would like to get all of this testing out of the way. 

Paul-  I hope every thing works out for you.  I would ask to talk to a manager and really yell.  Sometimes people will do anything to shut you up.

Nancy-  I guess I'm worse.  I look forward to the weekend the minute I walk in the door on Monday morning.  I also read that this winter is supposed to be colder and snowier than usual.  I'm not looking forward to this. 

I've been really bad on my eating habits.  I need to re-commit to my new eating habits.

I am up early too this morning thanks to my Dog Lexie she wanted up at 6  instead if 6:30 Oh well,
I did get  the hall way painted yesterday not today I will work on the laundry  room next.

Well, I'm back home - as I was in the hospital Monday and part of Tuesday. See my post above.

It's good to be back at work. I hate to be a patient in the hospital.

Now I have to play catch up at work.... Tonight's boxing class if I feel up to it.

It's Wednesday.  We are finally to the 1/2 way point of a busy work week.  
 
I would like to ask that those that believe in prayer, please say a prayer for my sis in AZ.  Patty had a single mastectomy last December and has now found two lumps on her "good" breast.  She is just terrified and I'm terrified for her.  It's almost as if she is in denial.  Does not want to face the truth and has been avoiding getting in to the doctor.  I convinced her to make an appointment but don't know details yet.  Your prayers, good vibes etc would be much appreciated.
