I'm Approved

After throwing out my paperwork 4 times because they could not match my last name, and after I called my HR corporate benefits person and threw a fit, low and behold, I have been approved with no issues at all. I am sitting at work now so happy I just had to get on the board and let everyone know.  

Hopefully I will be in surgery within the next 3-4 weeks  YEA!!!!!!!

Have you seen Dr Hart, Dr Crane, gone for the dietician apt. and gone to your support group meeting yet? Find out from your insurance girl what is next.

I have seen dr crane, I did my dietary appointment, went to 2 support groups already. Once they get the official letter from bcbs, maggie will let me know my next steps. I know I have to see a pulmonary guy, and possibly a cardiologist and that nasty upper gi. I just want to get started on everything now. As soon as I get that letter in the mail, I am taking it to maggie personally.

Chris, I am not sure if you know or not, but I am the person who meets and greets at seminar. I always enjoy seeing you and your hubby everytime. You both are absolutely wondeful people.

Maria, me bad. Oh am so sorry. I did not recognize your screen name/user name. I am so much of a face/name person of recognition. I can be such a dingbat sometimes. I just wanted to make sure all the T's & I's were crossed and dotted. Please accept my appologies. See ya Saturday, hopefully. I might not be there because I was asked to "work" a halloweenie event at the park district. "Work" means come and donate your time which I am getting tired of doing. My office does not get paid for any time put in over and above their normal 40 or 20 hours.

Chris, I appreciate all you do, including crossing the T and dotting those I's . Even though I am familiar with the procedures, I can't possibly know every little thing that will or should happen. I look to people like you and everyone else here on the board for encouagement, support and education. I have learned more here than anywhere. You guys are such a great group and when I see all the success out here, it is amazing. My time is coming soon to be a proud LOSER too.....I can't wait.

Congratulations Maria!!!!!!

I'm sure all of us can remember how excited we were when we were approved.

Good morning fellow Illinoisians!!!   I finally broke down and kicked the heat on, with the rain it was getting just a*****illed in the house.  Just kicked it on enough to get the chill out.  I've noticed with the weight loss, I sure do get alot colder faster these days..BRRRR!!!

Went to Kentucky this past weekend, had a family funeral.  It is getting harder and harder to make myself come back to Illinois each time I go.  ANd its only going to get harder once my mom and dad move there next year....UGH!       Have you ever just felt at home and at peace somewhere?  Thats how I feel when I'm there.  But the hubby has been where heis at work wise for over 12 years and jobs are not easy to find these days.   Shoot I'm still looking.
This weekend I'm heading to Decatur to visit some ole good friends...can't wait and then on sunday going back that direction with hubby, son and his girlfriend to the Great Pumpkin Patch in Arthur, Il.....we love going there!  We've been going there every October since my son was about 2, he is now 15 and we still enjoy going.
