Monday Roll Call
Good Morning.
Christine, the Arboretum sounds great. We were there years ago and have never gone back. I will put it in "my take Morgan to ",file for next summer when she stays with me.
I did get out in the garden yesterday and pulled up all the tomato and pepper plants. This way DH can get in and "plow" it up to make it easier to use in the spring. I have all the vines in a pile, so when he gets it dine, we can put the stuff back in the garden to decompose over the winter.
This week is work, and see Dr. Guske on Friday, I will get the 1 year blood testing done then. I am really having a problem keeping things down, not sure if itis the band or if I have an infection somewhere. My sugar is up a bit too.
Its a jacket day today. It sounds like it will be cooling off all week. I guess fall is really here.

Good morning all,
Trying to get back in the routine of posting, life keeps trying to interrupt me though. Earl left me at home this am so I can tackle the mountain on my desk. He will be back with Sami around 8am. Won't get much done here then until she goes to school at 11:30. Sami requires lots of attention from her Nana. And to tell the truth this Nana loves her time with her girls. Other than paying the bills I guess it really doesn't matter in the scheme of things if there are dust bunnies everywhere. My housekeeping has really fallen downhill of late.
Jen told Earl that she thinks we should still plan on going south for part of the winter, that she and the girls will be ok without us hovering daily......On one hand I am so looking forward to getting away but on the other I like being needed. Is "daily hovering" a bad thing? There is still alot to do to finish the girls bedroom but maybe she and the girls need some space too.

We had a busy weekend the dinning room is all done I will get some pic of it today and up them up, Last night was a night from
@ 7:30 I ate some SF ice cream and by 8 I was not feeling so good I just felt like I wanted to
then by 8:30 I had so much gas my stomach was just rolling and getting hard and hurting I don't think it was well after midnight before I could get any sleep, so no more ice cream for me.
today I have to go to the Rheumatoid Dr.. Then watch my granddaughters for a bit and then off to the Rockford support meeting tonight, other then that not much else going on,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Today is just a work day for me. To be honest, Calvin is working tonight and I'm looking forward to hitting the bed early. I'm really tired today.
I do have to make a call to the vet.. Missy has a yeast infection in her ears and I need to get more meds. I'm hoping I can just swing by and get the meds instead of having to take her in. I would not see why not, all three of the girls fight the infection often. They say it's common in labs. I feel bad, you can tell she's miserable but we'll get her fix right up.

The arboretum sounds great! We have one here in Rockford, and I've never been there, maybe I will have to check it out.
I had a great time visiting with my brother and going to the Oktoberfest party. We got a few things straightened out between us, and I am hoping to have a better relationship with him again. The party was at a private club and all the people there were so welcoming and friendly! I felt like I had known them forever. It was a very nice weekend.
Today, I have my 2 year check up in Madison. I don't have any issues except for the no weight loss thing, but they don't seem to have any answers about that. I guess I just need to be grateful for what I HAVE lost. I'm excited to have my blood work done, but they do it kind of backwards......they draw the labs after the visit, so then I have to wait for the results. It would make much more sense to have them drawn a couple of weeks ago so that we can discuss the results today. Oh well......who am I to change policy?
I may miss the Rockford group tonight because I will be in Madison. I have not yet decided for sure, but it seems like a lot of driving, especially after driving to and from Chicago over the weekend. We will see how I feel about it later on.
I am sorry to hear that Theresa needed another surgery, but I hope this solves her issues. I can't believe that the gremlins are now attacking everyone's bands!

Good Morning my IL family,
Chris the Arboretum is wonderful isn't it? My sister lives right near there and they have a membership and go there often with my neice. It's beaustiful there.
I had a busy weekend. Friday we went to Friday's for dinner with Mike's mom. I ordered the shrimp scewers and broccoli, that was yummy and just the right amount of food, though I didn't finish all the veggies.
Saturday we had Tyler's football game and then I came home and got ready for my girl's night out at Maggiano's in Oakbook. YUMMY. It was a family style dinner that the lady had won at an auction and there was SO much food. I had a taste of brushetta, some spinich salad, chicken marsala and a tiny taste of the chicken parmagian. It was good, but I didn't eat too much either. It was a better time just talking and laughing with everyone. The bill came to $445 but we only have to leave a tip! not bad huh and there were 10 of us.
Sunday I didn't do too much, Mike and I had to go to Schaumburg in the afternoon to clean up after the Marriage Encounter weekend there, but it didn't take long. Then it was home and relax.
Today however will be super busy for me. I have to call in for unemployment, go grocery shopping, go to the bank, call the Kane center because I have called 3 times already for my blood work results that I had done 3 weeks ago and I keep getting told someone will call me back that day and I still haven't heard anything!!! They are making me crazy here. Then I have to get Tyler from football later as well.
I hope everyone had a great weekend and also a wonderful day too!
