Good morning all,

I am trying to get back to my routine...life has a way of throwing challenges at us .  My weight has stayed the same that actually is a blessing since my eating is out of whack. not near enough water either. I had a fantastic trip last
weekend with my OH Over 50 sisters and brothers.  We went to Frankenmuth Michigan. Hopefully I can get back on track now.

Took my Boniva this morning, showered  and still have time left before I can get going on the rest of the morning routine ( meds & coffee).

I made a hat for Sami yesterday on my Knifty Knitter........the hat turned out so cute, her favorite color, pink, although it is a pink verigated yarn with a little orange & purple  too. She loves it  as it matches her cast, Sami fell out of bed last week and broke her left arm.. Now I have to start Cheyanne's hat, she wants purple.  This Knifty Knitter It is proving to be very relaxing.  I took some time away from all the busyness at Jens to just sit for the last two nights and was able to start & finish one hat in a few hours time.

Today our neighbor is finishing up the tuckpointing on the brick at Jens(DD)...so that will take care of the side where water came in over the foundation. We hired a friends son to dig out a trench around that side of the house to put drain tile in...so when it's done no more water should come in there.  She got assistance from FEMA so she will be able to get the floors finished in the house...Earl & I both need a vacation, somewhere warm and calm.

I hope everyone has a blessed day. Paulette

My legs have been giving me fits so it is computer church for me this week.  I am watching Da Bears and the Vikings.  I decided to take the weekend off from my own web church efforts and to use the start I have on keeping a regular schedule.  I will try to build on that next week by continuing to make videos and to work on my geocities site but also to return to .net training online.

Hi to all my friends,

I am cleaning the house and Madison just got picked up to go to the Discovery Center in Rockford.  I have been having some problems with my band also.  I think it is in the air.  I am getting better reconizing when to stop.  It is just so weirod to take  a few bits and then be done.  I have found that if a take a bit or two, then wait 10 min or so, then I am able to eat a little more.  I don't know if that is okay to do, but sometimes I just want that food!  Also, my port has been feeling really weirod also.  Sometimes when I wear a tighter shirt, you can see it  through my shirt.  It's kind of gross!  My husband saw it the other day and he almost lost his cookies!  Well, I'm going to go and finish cleaning a watch some more football!

I can feel my port and it feels like I have a big ball in there! If I wear something a wee bit tight It hurts so I have to change!

Good Afternoon,

Today is a nice fall day.  We had a great time at Playhouse Disney with the kids.  Brigid was a little tentative at first, but then warmed up to all the characters and had a great time.

Yesterday, I went to ABMC classes and support group and it was great. I got to meet Cathy and it was so nice to meet her in person after talking to her online.  She is doing great!

This site is really such a great place to make new friends and I talk about all of you all the time at these groups.  Alot of people dont have the support that we have on here.  It would be a shame to feel alone in all of this, so I hope we get some new members from it.

This month is going really fast.  This week is a normal busy week, with the prize at the end is a weekend away.  We are going to South Bend, Indianna to visit Notre Dame's campus and spend the weekend.  My husband loves ND and always wanted to go there, but stayed here, and went to DePaul ( which is another great Univ.)  He thinks the kids are going to ND, plus he is a huge football fan.  It will be fun just to get away.  The colors should be in full bloom and just falling enough so we can crunch through the leaves.  Love to do that!  We will also hopefully stop somewhere and get some pumpkins for Halloween.  I am looking forward to our little road trip!

I posted some new 2 month out pictures, to compare to the pre surgery pics.  I can now see a little difference and am encoraged by the results.  Now that my cough is better, I am going this week to the gym and swim.  I need to jump start my wt loss again.  This past week I have been on steroids so I think that had to do with not losing this week, plus being sick and not moving too much.  Let's hope this week is better.

I hope everyone has a great week!

Hi Everyone!!!

I was having PC probs all day, finally DH fixed it for me.

To keep myself busy I raked up all the leaves leaving huge piles for the gardener, I was temped to pick them up but my DH said that would be silly. Well the outside time and exercise made me feel good. Soon it will be too cold to enjoy time outside, I was happy for another nice day,

--Eileen , I checked out your pictures and WOW girl you have really made progress!
sometimes the numbers make us dance around but really you look great!

congrats , It was real nice to meet you yesterday. We should get  together sometime outside of the ABMC support meetings.

I sorted all my medical bills, time to pay them now that my PC is up and running.
---Theresa sorry you had to go through surgery again, I hope you feel well soon.

Have a nice week everyone!
