Good Morning!
Up a wee bit earlier then usually for a Sunday! Need to get a few things done before I go to grannies!
So whats on your agenda today?  I hope I am able to get home early enough to get in a walk, but since she lives so far away and my Mom sleeps till noon it will most likely be dark when I get back from Manito.
Too all the lurkers, come on out and play we do not bite, and good luck to all the pre and post-opt ppl. This is an adventure that you will never regret!!!!

Well my coffee is done and its screaming at me so have a great day at whatever you have planned and stay safe!!!!!

Good Morning Karen and IllinoisQ

I am up and at em this morning.  Christine, I dont usually spend half the morning in bed.  It is an only once in a blue moon occasion.  It is church for me and then reading a book for my study group.  Hopefully I dont get a nap attack in the middle of the book.

Have a great day!

Good morning Karen and the Illinois board.Karen, I just looked at your ticker and realized how close you are to  the century mark. Good for you!

I had a really bad day yesterday. The poouch decided it didn't like food or drink. Finally, after 10 last night, I was able to keep down  a bottle of water. I am hoping today is better. I have a Dr. visit on Friday, so I will see what is going on with me then. I know I am not over eating, or eating to fast. Yesterday's breakfast was a canned protein drink, drank in over an hour. Then. about 4 ounces of  purreed veggie soup for lunch, followed by 1/2 cup of chili for dinner. Again purreed.

No major plans for today, just messing around here at home. Tomorrow its back to work after a nice weekend.

I am agreeing with Karen, lurkers, newbies, oldsters, come out and play with us. We love to see new faces on here.

Hugs

Sorry Lisa  that your poouch would not except food or drinks. I dealt with that on and off for over 1 yr. I had a fill that was too tight in July of 07. Then in Oct  of 07 I had 1/2 cc removed. Then In March of 08 had it put back in. I started having heart burn so bad and I even had trouble getting water in. I tried to baby it until Oct 2 I had doc take out 1cc. I feel so much better. Not losing any weight though.  I believe I had eaten something that got stuck and it irritated the esophagus at some point. I think its all better now so Nov 6Th going to see if he will put back 1/2 cc and then go from there.
Be careful and concentrate on the fluids as to not dehydrate, good luck till Friday!

Good morning Karen and Illinois!

I'm drinking my coffee and reading the boards. Soon I must get my butt into gear and get moving.....for excitement today we will be meeting the family at Dollinger Farms. Seems like it will be fun.
I love watching the grands have fun! It's supposed to be warmer today than yesterday so it will be a nice day to walk in the four acre corn maze.
To all the lurkers...come out, come out, wherever you are......

Hope you all have a most pleasant day!

Good morning friends!

My life is pretty calm, not too much going on here. I have a business project this week which will keep me off the boards  a while. I am looking forward to support group tomorrow to see everyone.

Right now I am watching the birds on the feeder from the computer. This may be one of the last pretty days--the leaves seem to be falling quickly.

Have a great day!

One of the really fun things I have experianced living in a midrise is that a lot of actually spirals upward in spinning minature eddies before falling.

Hi everyone. Another eventful weekend for me. I went to the doctor on thursday about my band problems again and he completely unfilled it and did a GI Scan, admitted me to the hospital and did surgery on  friday and put in a new band because my band was slipped and couldn 't be moved. I got home last night. The surgery is alot harder the second time. I will try to make it to mondays Rockford meeting if I can get a ride from one of the kids because I will still be on pain meds, I'm a wimp.
