Happy Sweetest Day Roll Call

Good early afternoon Illinois!

I enjoyed a morning snuggling under the covers and cuddling my furbabies this morning!  It was a perfect morning for this.  Thus I got out of bed late.  It felt sooooo good!  It was nice to sleep in for a change.

I broke down and turned on the heat this morning.  First time of the season.  It was chilly in here.  That was why I did not want to get out of bed. 

My plans for the weekend are not too exciting.  I need to go to do my weekly grocery shopping, pick up some prescriptions and read 117 pages and a study guide for a study group at church that starts Monday night.  So I know I will be doing lots of reading.

Did you just get up????!!!!! Oh my gosh the best part of the day is over and done with. Come on girl shake your patutiy.

I never could sleep much past 9am or I got a headache. My picture is in the dictionary next to the pharse called "early riser".

No,  I actually woke up at 9am and finally got out of bed at 10am.  It just felt sooo good to cuddle the cats and give them one on one time.  They dont get that much during the week and with 5 of them, it takes time for everyone to have his turn. 

Ohhhh kaaaayyyy - I will go there with you as I really, really miss having a kitty cat - not enough to get another one that is. The most I ever had was 4 and that was more than enough. That was before the self clumping kitty litter and the Litter Maid boxes. Man I loved that box. Though it had some flaws, but minor.  I gave it away to a friend - right friend???? She knows who she is.

Sherry missed Dave.  She thinks she was in the freezer when he came in.  Very pretty morning.  I processed a few computers into the repairable and unrepairable pallets at Bright Hope.  Sweetest day is news to us.  Hallmark must have missed marketting that one to Texas.  I do not remember hearing about it last year either.  Every day is sweetest day for us though.

Hi Randy, I feel that sweetest day is a hallmark holiday.........one day doesn't change how I feel about my husband....

Hi everyone Happy Sweetest Day !

My hubby and I never celebrated the day as a couple.
 
I do recall walking into the grocery and seeing the flowers and baked goods on this day. For me it began my fondness for Bavarian cream donuts, I would see them and have to buy them.

To celebrate now I shall make fat free /sugar free chocolate pudding and add a dab of fat free cool whip. This will be such a treat to me.

Amazing how surgery changes us, I love that.

I went to the ABMC support meeting, wonderful meeting and best of all I met Eileen!!

She looks fantastic!! I want her haircut! and it was good to see she is feeling better.

Hey Eileen!! did you join the gym? I forgot to ask you. We could go together.

Now that I am home, I have a stack of bills to sort and go through from the surgery - this can wait until the evening. ( see how I got the stack? procrastinating I am good at)

It is so nice outside I think I will take a walk around the neighborhood.

I am thankful for all my OH friends and people on the boards! you really make a difference and I am happy to have found you all.
