Happy Sweetest Day Illinois!

It's Saturday....and your all nestled snuggly in your beds....
I haven't got anything planned for today....how about you?

Tomorrow we are meeting Jackie, John, Ava, Vince, and Dan and Jenn at Dollinger Farms. They have a childrens petting zoo, hay rides and of course the famous pumpkin    that we are seeking.

Hope you all have an enjoyable day!

Hi Christie, we don't really "celebrate" sweetest day either, but we will buy each other a card.

Good Morning Carol and  Illinois Land,

Any day that I don't have to go into the office is sweetest day to me.

Yesterday I was busy all day, we made cookies, did a pumpkin to take to my dd tonight, did errands, went to Burger King for lunch (had 1 hamburger without the bun), went for pizza for dinner (just the toppings, didn't stay down).

Today looks busy too. I need to make Janet H, hamburger dip, pick up the house, do some laundry, go get a birthday gift for a 3 year old, and I am sure, that a million other things will rear thier ugly heads.

The goood thing is that the sun is out, even if it stays cool, and we are going to see our family this evening. Plus, I have DGD for the rest of today before I have to take her home.

My grateful thought for today,  I am grateful for my Granddaughter Morgan, my comrade in arms that keeps me young. Ahusband that never tells me I must or can't do something. and my friends.

Hugs to everyone

Happy Saturday to all!
Last night my daughter, her family, my Mom, brother and I went to Lone-star for dinner. Today is my DB 39Th birthday so we went to celebrate. I decided not to order anything, but a side salad. It was huge, but I took 2 bites from GS baked potato, 1 of my daughters ribs to make a complete meal. It was wonderful a full meal and very little cost. The ribs though tasted old so when the manage came around I simple told him so. He then said well what can I do to make it right! Well my daughter wasn't going to say anything so I said give her a free appetizer for the next time she comes in and he did. My DD said mom you have gotten more out spoken with the weight lose, I said well maybe I don't feel like he would think Yea a fat lady wanting more food, like she needs it!

Today just going out for a walk then tomorrow to see my dear granny after all shes over 90 so not a lot of visiting days left !

Have a great day and enjoy the trees, I just love the fall and the changes!

Dave and I have already been to the grocery store for a few items. Did not need too much in the food stock territory as we had Chinese food last night and will have left overs for a few days. When it warms up a little bit here I will go outside and clean up the veggie planting containers and get them ready for the winter. Dave is going to church to serve lunch to the production team and I am staying home to do the above. Later this evening we will walk next door to the neighbor's for an Oktoberfest party.  no beer for me, yuck, just the good cheer

My niece is at her sister's house in Warrenville with her boys for the weekend and we will not see her again until Sunday night. Dave and I are going to Morton Arboretum tomorrow. They also have a tram ride that takes you around to see the beauty. So much easier than trying to drive and look at the same time. I think that this is probably one of the few remaining weekends before the trees will start to drop their leaves.

As I have promised I posted my pictures of the new pillows and furniture in the living room on my profile.

 &

good !

Good Morning,

I just woke up.  I have to do some cleaning around the house before we go to Maddie's school and pull weeds for the beatification project.  We are getting ready to plant bulbs at her school.  Every child will recieve a bulb and the class is going to come out and plant it.  In the spring they get to watch it bloom.

On Thur, we took our dog (Max) to get nutered.  His testies did not drop, so we knew it would be a little bigger surgery because they had to go in and find them. They called and said Max was out of surgery, but they did not find and testies.  So they are doing a hormone test to see if he is still producing testostrone.  Had to take him back yesterday to the vet because he was not acting himself and not eating or drinking.

I hope you day is good and I will ttyl!
