Friday Roll Call
Your conference sounds like it was really interesting yesterday Christine and the Octoberfest sounds like it will be a lot of fun! Enjoy!
I am glad it is Friday! I look forward to catching some extra

This weekend I need to start reading. I have a study group starting at church Monday night and have 117 pages to read and a study guide to get through before then. I enjoy these groups but squeezing in the homework can be challenging.
My garbage disposal has an appointment to be replaced Monday. Whew. I am so used to having one. I hate having to remember that I cant put food down the drain. That is a difficult habit to break.

Enjoy your Friday and get ready for a great weekend!

BRRRRR is RIGHT! I hauled out the long johns, 2 pairs of socks, 2 tops and a fleece jacket. I am typing with my gloves on at the moment...... I don't know WHAT I will do when it is REALLY cold! The thermostat says 67 degrees here in my office.
I am also going to an Octoberfest/Halloween party tomorrow night. It is being held at a club that my brother belongs to in the city. I have not been in to visit him in a long time. I hope we have a good time.
Today, after work, David has a football game, and I'm sure that Todd and Liv will go to that for sure. A Rockford radio station is doing a remote broadcast from the Tap in Rock City, and David wants me to go to that to see if I can win him tickets to a concert he wants to see. I will stop in there on my way home and check out what is going on. I may stay there for a while, or go to David's game......we will see how things go. I am having a hard time going to his games because I am SOOO COLD, it hardly makes it worth it. He doesn't get to play much either, so I am only interested when he is playing. The varsity is still undefeated and slated to be in the play-offs again. It would be pretty cool if they wont the state title again.
Monday is my 2 year check up in Madison. That should also be interesting. Trader Joe's......here I come!
I wish everyone a spectacular day!
This morning I am getting ready to make cookies with DGD. I altered the receipe to use splenda instead of sugar, and egg whites instead of whole eggs. Then we will make some lemon scented soap and do some errands, I also want to make Janet's hamburger dip to take to a party tomorrow night.
While Iam out today, I need to find a pair of black jeans. Mine are all way to baggy on me.
Have a great day,
Hugs
Dawn I know what you are saying about the cold, I have my long johns on too and am cold all the time, It is going to be a very long winter for me I can see that now.
Well not much else going on hope everyone has a good weekend,
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Not much going on around here. I did laundry, cleaned the house and went to the grocery store yesterday. That leaves me free for the rest of the weekend...unfortunetly no big plans for then.
This new fill is better...can only eat 2-3 ounces of protein instead of the usual 4. And I must eat much slower. Hopefully this will break my plateau. Will weigh in on Tuesday.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
hope this fill will end that plateau. You're the only person I know right now that has the Realize band. I have to make a decision about what band to choose. I have a few months to figure it out, but its nice to know someone who has one. Also, I was reading Dr Curry's remarks on the Realize band and do you know he said that he suggests the AP LapBand for people with a BMI of 50+. So I'm more undecided than ever now. I was leaning toward the Realize Band and now I'm not so sure.
I didn't have a choice as realize is what Dr. Joyce choose. He had said that he was seeing a lot less problems with it.
Check out Realizemysuccess.com. It is the support site for people with the realize band. You will have limited access to the site until you get codes to enter. I know quite a few people who have it and they all seem pleased. I have not had any problems with it that were not my fault. If I don't chew well enough, take too big of a bite, yes I've gotten stuck, but it was my fault. You can also check out the realize forum here on OH. Also when on the realize forum here look to the left at the sidebars and see if any of that info helps you make a decision.
Good luck!
I have been randomly popping in and out lately, this is just a very busy month for us! We have been house hunting lately, I just can not stay in this townhouse any longer! We found a place last night that we really liked, we are just waiting for more information from the relator. We are hoping to be out of here by March!! So, I need to start packing soon, which I am dreading. lol
We are taking the boys to CoCo Key tomorrow, which I am SOOOOOO excited about! They don't know we are going, so I can't wait to see their reactions. I think they will know something is up when we go drop off the puppy, we'll see!
Well, take care everyone! Stay Warm!!!

WahHooooo!!!!!!!
I think losing a little weight is making me a lot more productive and since most of what Sherry and I "eat" is liquid it really cuts down on shopping for and preparing food as well as washing dishes. That frees up time for other things.
Tomorrow I will likely get out to Bright Hope to work on computers. I will need to take what I have put on YouTube this week onto my Geocities page and perhaps make one other video that I am not sure yet of the content. God provides for us in so many ways. I feel what I do honors him and I want it to not compete with churches but to find a way for it to lead folks who can go to church to go while what I do is for those who cannot go. The reasons are not always physical as they have been for me so many times over the last ten years of operations and infections then weight gain. Most churches just are not equipped to deal with many wonderful folks that still need love, compassion and so many other things that come with fellowship. My love is in churches but this type of thing is true in all types of fellowship groups from Bridge Clubs to Z drivers. I get very hyper when I read of things like the couple in the lake front burb who were found dead together a month after they died and then it list the group they were affiliated with that should have known and been with them. We had another like that of a Father and Son who ran a business. I guess one had died and the other posted a sign on the business that it was closed due to a family death and went home to die alone himself.
