Did You Move To Lose Today? Halloween Candy OH MY!
Hey Everyone,
I just love this time of the year. We have the house decorated and the front yard is a grave yard. Giant spider on the arbor and all.
I also have the inside of the house all decorated and my husband has starting to buy the dreaded Halloween candy
I am several years out and can eat candy without getting sick
So there are two things I have learned to deal with this issue....
1.) Buy only candy you don't like...yes there are candies I don't like, just keep the chocolate away from me. Sit down and discuss with your loved ones and get their help.
2.) Decide you are going to indulge if you can control it and increase your workouts to counter act the extra cals. Do this ONLY if you have control
That being said, today I walked Rocky, ran a couple of miles on my treadmill and will work on the bag tonight....
So my friends, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintained Today? Come on in and let's share and inspire each other. This thread will get us through Halloween candy and more
Take care,
Kathy

Hi Kathy!
YES!!!! I did, I did! I got up at 4 am again today and hope to start back on the bike and bands regularly. I did about 35-40 minutes on the bike, mostly at about 20 mph. I clocked in almost 12 miles!
I was actually doing a bit of an experiment. I have been on a plateau since 10 months out. (my 2 year surgiversary is in 2 weeks.) I was experimenting to see if little to no exercise did anything to my weight. I decreased the exercise dramatically about a month or two ago. It did not effect it either way. I still go up and down the same 2-3 pounds all month. Now.......the new experiment is to see if starting the exercise back up will have any effect.
With that being said........I feel better when I exercise! My day gets started on a better note and it is out of the way for the day. Once I get used to it, I do not mind getting up the extra hour earlier....in fact, I kind of like it. Please remind me of that in the middle of winter when the warm bed calls me back...........
Thanks for the inspiration!

I love your " did you move to lose today" I say that to myself each morning to get myself in gear!
I am back on my treadmill - moving 3 miles daily.
And I put second coat of paint on outdoor trim today.
as for Halloween treats , I bought Ritz peanut butter crackers ( 2 packages = 140 cal) These will be my office treat!
