Monday Roll Call

Hi All!  I'm at work and thinking about going home sick.  I'm not sick, but I feel like playing today! I went shopping for cloths yesterday and realized that the last time I bought size 38 pants was when I was 19!!!  For those keeping count, that was 25 years ago!!!!  My wife found a nice jacket for me for $29.00 and said to try it on.  It fit with room to spare and it was a Large!  Not a 2 X or even an X but a Large!  So Barry, if you're out there, I've lost my X's too!!!  Tonight I finish my level 1 Reiki training.  I'm very excited.  This will allow me to not only practice Reiki on myself, but also on others.  I'm going to start with myself, but I may start offering treatments shortly.  We'll see how it goes.  My weight dropped a little, but it is still very slow going.  I just can't understand how I can be eating a tenth of what use to be my norm, and not loose???  I know all the metabolic stuff, but you would think eventually I would just run out of reserves and lose the pounds.  I know I'm just whining, but now that I'm down to 200, I can see that 175 mark just over the hill and I want to get to it.  It's funny how I could live at 250 for all those years with no concern, but now I'm impatient about the last 25 pounds.  Oh well, I'm hoping that the Reiki will bring me the patience that I'm fighting with.  Have a good day, and enjoy the warmth.  Paul

Good morning Chris and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today.  Todd has the morning off to take the kids in for their eye exams.  Then he will go into work and take the kids to Aunt Dixie's to hopefully clean her gutters and keep her company for the day.

The weather this weekend was lovely.  I dropped Liv off at her rehearsal, then picked up Dixie for a run to the craft store and a hot dog at was my uncle's favorite hot dog spot when he was alive.  A few tears were shed, but I think that she appreciated the company.

Then we had a nice fire in the backyard on Saturday night with neighbors and friends attending.

Yesterday, I got out the rest of the tie dye stuff that I did not get a chance to finish at the party.  I did 4 shirts and a sheet.  I will rinse them this evening and if they turn out well, I will take pictures for you all.

I am wondering how Monica's test went????

I am glad to hear that everyone that had surgery last week is home and recovering well.  Welcome all new post-ops and all newbies to the board!

Everyone have a magnificent day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good Monday Morning to all!!

The kids are home, well Tyler's at football practice for another hour, but no school today.  Mike is working from home and I am doing nothing today!  I took my final exams yesterday and it was HARD.  It took me a total of 6 hours and 15 minutes to do all 7 tests and I only stopped to use the washroom twice and I even ate my lunch while working.  I am not sure how I did, but every test was super hard.  All essay questions and each test had anywhere form 10-15 questions.  yikes!
Today my neck and right shoulder are kiling me, the muscles are cramped.

The weather is cool and overcast today and that just figures...yesterday was beautiful and I was stuck inside ALL day!  oh well.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

Monica

Day's off are great Chris.

Glad Outback is going well and you are feeling better.

Happy the test are done and hope your shoulders and neck feel better soon.

I made a video this morning.  Hurrah.

Not my best but God will make it his best in someone's heart. I am going to try and get in the groove of making a video a day so I am sure I will eventually get better.

I am randy7771026 on YouTube.

I had two cups of tea and a few peanuts so far today.  I need to get on FitDay and catch up.  I slacked off this weekend.

I also need to get to the state forms but likely will not do that until late in the afternoon or evening.

Hi Randy -
Thanks for the kind words.  You need to get more food in then just peanuts in tea.  That's not a healthy way of losing weight.  I hope this is just an off day and not your normal food intake.  Your body will think your starving it.
I'll have to get on youtube when I get home from work.  They block it here at work.

Take Care of YOU,
Christina

My normal now is to have four or five protein drinks and then regular food up to between 2000 and 3000 calories for the day but more normally close to 2500.  I had two full meals yesterday though so this is just my body feeling full and not wanting much food yet.  That was three ounces of peanuts unsalted which has 20g of protein, 42 g of fat and 18g of carbs so close to five hundred calories for breakfast at eight thirty am.  I do tend to forget lunch when I am busy though and the set up for my video after not making one for a while had me in IT mode which I sort of forget everything else when I am in that mode as I am an extreme technophyle.  I took my peanut dish and Taz cup in the kitchen at about one and meant to get a Slim-Fast when I did but see now that I do not have an empty sitting here which means I forgot to do that so I will end this post and go do that with an extra scoop then another about four thirty will take me into the evening regular food eating and learning to chew, chew, chew.

Hi everyone. It was an eventful weekend working and the Emergency Room. My 14 year old was playing  football with friends and he tackled his best friend and broke his leg. He is so upset. We sat in ER last night by his friends side. He might need surgery. It's so hard to see your children hurting for a friend. They have known each other 10 years. My week is busy with work and I am going to try to paint my dining room. Everyone have a great day.

Good morning Illinois!

We had a busy weekend running all over.  Sat we went to the St Charles Scarecrow fest.  We did not get there til 2pm ( should have went earlier) so all we made it to was to eat and shop the crafts.  Good for me!  The park is beautiful and the kids had a great time running thru it and Brigid especially loved sitting by the river and watching the ducks.  It was a beautiful day.

Sunday we did lots of household chores.  Cleaned up the yard for the winter, put the pools away and extra Little Tikes stuff all covered.  We cleaned off the deck and covered almost all of the furniture, leaving some for some late warm weather.  Then we moved Brigid's climber/ slide thing to the deck so she can still enjoy it on a warm fall day.  She was very excited.  As if that wasnt enough, we then came inside and steam cleaned Noah bedroom carpet, our bedroom carpet, the hallway , 2 pieces of furtniture, and today I have to finish one spot in the famiy room.

This is a reg week of chaos and craziness for us, with the end reward on Sunday we are taking the kids to Playhouse Disney at the Allstate Arena.  This is the first time for Brigid to go to a show like this so I am excited to see how she likes it.  Kind of a test drive for Disney.

The weight loss is going slow but I have been sick alot this past week and not feeling like eating  much.   Just trying to keep up with the water.  I have has a lot of episodes of throwng up lately, I think due to stress and eating too fast.  Im not sure.  It is very discouraging.

Anyway, Im glad to see the car gremilins have dissappeared and everyone seems to be doing well.

Have a great day everyone.
