Sunday Roll Call
Good Morning Ilini Land!
Well, I did not make roll call until last night so I though I would start it this morning. Yesterday was a busy day for me. I had to go for my 6 month blood tests, get my hair don and go to Wally world to do my shopping and pick up other things. By the time I got done, I was pooped.
Today is laundry, church, reading papers and maybe Target. Have to make the most of my weekends.
The weather has been fantastic. I am loving it. Of course so is Claude who did another great escape act again yesterday. Bad Kitty!
My wow for the day yesterday was getting on the scale and discovering that it moved again!
The 6 week long stall is over. I am down 5 more pounds.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. It sounds like many of you had some exciting plans/activities scheduled. Hope you enjoyed them.

I have no plnas for the day. I will probably just hang around the house. My best friend is going to stop by later today. She lost almost 200 lbs after her lap band surgery, she's amazing.
My daughter's surprise party was a hit. She was really surprised.
Nancy, congrats on the getting the scale to move again!!!! YEAH!!!

Looks like today is going to another beautiful day! The sun was soo warming yesterday......I loved it! Today we will go to see Lakeview Terrace with Samuel Jackson. It looks like a good movie filled with suspense. Later this afternoon Ava and Vince will be coming to spend the night with us so mom and dad can have a relaxing dinner out before the baby comes. It won't be much longer now.

Yesterday was such a hectic day. I am so looking forward to the lovely day today. I get a chance to spend time with my two oldest grandson's Anthony Jr and Jeremy. They are 6 and 4. Got up and made pancakes and scrambled eggs for them, and for me, Oatmeal with added protein powder and a dash of splenda. It was actually very good.
The kids are in the bath tub as I type this, and then I am hopping in the shower and we are off to the early showing of Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It looks pretty funny and we love doggies. We will probably go to lunch and then it's back to my house. I pulled out the Halloween decorations so I think I will let them do all the decorating this year. I think they are old enough to do it.

Good morning Nancy and fellow IL friends. I've been very busy this morning, shopping and packing for my trip to Milwaukee.
Now I am doing my nails and have to finish packing. I'm usually ready for a trip but was tired and out all day yesterday, so I didn't feel like doing anything last night.
I'll be back Wednesday afternoon and then will start my boxing classes at Northwest Community.
It's a great day for a drive! I've got my protein drinks, water, string cheese, etc.. since I'm not flying. I love that I can take whatever I want! I'm taking a cooler in the car too.

Good Morning. Well, we finally made it to Home Depot this morning, and a stop at WallyWorld. Now D is having a snack and then we are off to do something. Not sure what, but it will involve work of some kind.
I am planning on making some kind of chicken for dinner this evening. (see, I need leftovers for the weeks lunches).
I am trying to get all my liquid in today. Its not been going good the last few days, since I have gotten this cold. Of course neither is the protein.
Our daughter and son in law stopped yesterday. We ended up going for pizza. I ate the topping off of 2 delux slices, and threw the crust away. That worked good.
I am heading out to the garage to help DH put some stuff in containers. Personally, I think its a big mess, and the best way to clean it is to bring a dumpster in, but he doesn't think so. We will see.

Sorry you got a nasty cold! They sure make eating a task when you have good restriction! I haven't been able to eat the topping from pizza in over a year. I no longer miss it! Oh I did at first but not any longer.
My son would have gotten the dumpster, he did at our house and I have a cleaner basement then I do in the main part of the house. His motto is if you haven't used in in over 1 month then you don't need it! So I guess hes right I haven't missed anything so that's good!
