Hi Stacie and welcome.

I can't add too much to what everyone told you about our board, but I CAN tell you and Crystal about an angel.

An angel is someone who agrees to keep contact with you or your family when you go in for surgery, then post to the board to let us all know how you are doing.  It is as simple as that!

If there is someone here on the board that lives in your area, maybe they will volunteer. 
Living in your area is not a requirement though.  Just the willingness to take the phone calls and post.

Things are finally starting to get back to normal here. My daughters house is almost back to normal. One bedroom yet to paint and redo flooring. But the worst of the flood repair is done.

Carla K is here, she got in yesterday. Tomorrow we leave for Frankenmuth, Mi for our Over 50 forum Fall GTG weekend.  Can't wait, I miss all my OH friends, I hope to get back in the habit of posting and checking on all my friends on OH.

 I lost a couple more pounds but need to get really back on my program so the weight loss speeds up some again.  Hopefully being wiht OH friends this weekend will help me with jump starting my program!

Hi everyone! Once again, I haven't been here for awhile. I always read, just rarely post. My 14 yer old has a football game tonight. He played for about 13 seconds during the last game and I am hoping they will put him in longer this week. He didn't start practice at the beginning of the year with the rest of the team, so he had to wait till the 8th game to qualify for play. I get so excited and proud watching him! Everyhing in my little bandster world is still the same. No weight loss. I feel like I have good restriction though. I am just getting tired of running back and forth to Chicago to see the doctor for no improvements. Have a great day!

I've been busy this morning getting the agenda ready for the association budget and annual meeting coming on Monday. I still haven't added to my blog or added current pictures. I must get moving as I'm going to meet Paulette and Carla at Hobby Lobby.

Hey good afternoon everyone.I have a week to try and forget. First my dog died on Sunday, he was a border collie- black lab mix. He was a very beautiful dag his name was Sampson. OK no more tears!! My 6 yr old grandson has had diarrhea for most of the week. I got a call Mon at about 1:45 he messed his pants. I got him cleaned up and took him back to school. Tue, 2:30 the teacher called again I said no he did not she said yes he did, off to school to get him. Took him to the bus barn and got him all cleaned up. Well yesterday at about 2 she called me again I said I'm on my way. This time I did not even let her tell me. Well this time it wasn't bad it was really a "wet toot".  By this time he's crying because the kids laughed at him!!! I said I wonder why!!Today I have kept him home and I don't even think hes went in to use the potty.
While I was at coffee this morning the school calls me I kinda froze because I already have the GD and the youngest GS at home was the other GS sick! No he wanted a cold lunch because he did not want what the school had!!! At first I said too bad, but then caved in and off to the local store and got him something for lunch.   I NEED A VACATION BADDDDDDD!!!!!!!!! OK all better now I am done whining sorry!!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your Sampson.  Calvin reminded me again last night that our Harley is getting up in age.  I can't imagine losing her but know it will happen some day.  My heart breaks for you.  They are part of the family.
You have had way too much going on this week.  I hope the kids start feeling better.  That's no fun for them or grandma.

Thank you. He was a good dog. He went blind a few yrs back but he could still love.
Now as far as the grnkids I told my oldest she owes me a week vacation ALONE! That will not happen so I will just make my little time away when I come to Downers Grove work! Maybe next month I will stay a day or so longer. I was going to this last time but my boss called me begging for me to take a bus trip on Sat. So I came home Friday morning.

We are missing a report on another surgery from Tuesday are we not?  Did I miss it yesterday?

As an ex S&P trader the last few days have been interesting while I have been doing my 2007 books.  I have netted out all of the files but one.  It should go quickly in the morning then I just have to go through the expenses deductions and put it all on the C so I can finish A and B.  Did I mention I have a huge aversion to forms.

I have a video ready to upload to YouTube but it is just three short shots of some bird of prey that all of the other birds pester because he eats their eggs.  I wish I had gotten some footage of the little birds pestering him.  That means I have a tape for making the video I thought I would make this week.
