It is Hump Day! Hope everyone has a great day. The weather is susposed to be nicer than the rainy, cold day we had yesterday. That is a plus!

Good Morning Nancy and my IL family,
With me not working yet, nothing too exciting goes on around here! lol
Nothing planned today other than studying and then picking up kids again later. Tomorrow night is the play that Jacob's been working on and I found out last night that he's actually got a small part in it now. He's gonna be a police officer and have to arrest someone! lol
I hope everyone enjoys their day, the sun is supposed to peek out later today, yay!!

Hello everyone 
I'm sitting here at work ready to start my day. Again, its customer service week and we have all of these activities we're supposed to do. I haven't done any of them yet. I'm BAH HUMBUG when it comes to work activities.
My daughter called me this morning at 5:30. Which shocked me because she is the type to stay up late and sleep till 10am, so I thought something was wrong. Actually nothing was wrong. She was up all night finishing up a paper that is due today at 11am. Its midterm time at U of I and I guess after studying/taking tests and doing a lab she had to finish her paper last night. So she called just to say good morning. Isn't that nice.

Good morning Nancy and the rest of my IL family, Not much going on with me today, Jim painted the other walls last night so today I get to rehang the pictures, it look really nice, I sure love a fresh painted room it looks so fresh.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Today is my six month bandiversary! I will post to my blog sometime later. I just want to say thanks to my special group of friends for posting their trials and tribulations of weight loss surgery. It has made a difference in my life.
Not much going on around here. Will go to the gym later.

Good morning Nancy and the rest of Illinois!
Yes! I FINALLY got my car back last night. I had to leave it in Rockford overnight so that I could take the loaner back to Freeport, but it seems to be working OK. The test will be when I get out on 20 after work. Hopefully, this will be it for the gremlins for a while.
My kids only have half a day today, but David still has football practice, so I'll pick him up after work and we are hoping to carve out some time tonight to figure out when they want to volunteer at the museum over the school year. Since Todd has other things to do tonight, it might be a good time.
We will have leftovers from the turkey I roasted on Sunday. MAN, it was good! I used boxed stuffing, with chopped apple and an apple, chicken, rice dish (that I had left over in the fridge from the boys...) all mixed up together to stuff the bird. I only had a couple of bites, but it was really good and I'm looking forward to the second round.
The weather here is still cold, rainy and dreary. I've started wearing 3 shirts and long socks already. I don't know HOW I am going to make it through the winter.........I am praying for an unseasonably warm one, but not counting on it.
I am thinking of our newbies and hoping we hear something soon about how they did yesterday.

Good morning to all my Illinois Friends!
I have some shopping to do today! I need to get plastic started up on the windows we aren't opening up right now.
Got the furnace fixed last night. I changed the thermo-couple, thermo-stat and those were not the problem. My brother came over to take a look and apparently when my son cleaned out the basement for me he cut the wire running up to the thermo-stat. He thought it was an old phone wire and it does look like one. So it was a little mistake but alls good now.
I got a good compliment this morning after I got off the bus while have coffee. An older friend said I looked great and she was impressed that I was keeping the weight off. Well she does not now my "friend Mr Lap-Band" with his help I hope to never gain it back!!!!

Univeristy of Chicago Medical Center. It's 100 miles each way, but I think it will be worth it. They have 2 surgeons that both seem to be excellent. I told them I didn't mind which surgeon I ended up with and saw Dr. Vivek Prachand.
