Monday Roll Call
I looked up plateau buster on the OH search and found that most of them were the same. Kay and I did the whole ten days. She lost 5 lbs and I lost 14. But I had just gained 10 and so really lost 4 new pounds because the ten had only been there about a week. It was easy to do, with all the protein we were comfortable and full. I have a new appreciation for sugar free popsicles which I had not eaten before. WE decided we were eating too many carbs before and now are going to limit that some.

Thanks...I've been fighting the same 2-3 pounds since August. I had another fill a few weeks ago but I'm still not losing. I go to the gym three times a week....maybe I need more calories!?!? I've been averaging between 600-800 calories a day. I go for my 6 month on the 15th...I'll have to see what he says. Thanks for the info....congrats to you and Kay on your losses.
I like the sf popsicles at night when I'm thirsty but don't want to drink anymore water.

Hello Carol,
I have my second appt. on the 15th with Dr. Lahmann. Are you going to the 6 month class at 1:00 on the 15th? I really liked Dr. Lahmann. I was surprised that he looks like he is around my age 31. Do you take the vitamins from the office? I haven't tried to swallow any pill that big in the 1 1/2 years of having the band.

I will be in the class. First at 10:45 I have a appt. with doctor to check band and maybe hopefully a fill. I have a small hiatal hernia so we want to check on that. I am trying to take the vitamins. I really haven't swallowed anything bigger then my birth control pill since surgery. I still take liquid form when I can. (like tylenol) Are you getting a fill that day? He said some fills are done in his office. How are the support groups? I would like to go. I work afternoons so I would have to try to switch my day off or take off. Thank You for responding. Everyone seems sooo nice on this forum.

Hey Theresa,
If your at this class maybe we will be able to meet. After the nutrition class we each get seen by the doctor. This is my 6 month check-up appointment. I'm not scheduled for a fill that day but who knows maybe he will tweak it. I had a fill a few weeks ago, but I'm not losing.
The support groups are held on the last Tuesday of the month at 6PM and are very informative.

That would be very nice to meet you. What is Oct. support group about? You have done great. This journey is not easy. I was up from my lowest weight. Doctor said it can be a little of needed a fill and a little reminder refresher. When I got to my lowest I was very tight. (I had to get a unfill) I haven't had any fill in almost a year. I was holding around the same weight for a long time. Then went up a little.
Good Morning -
The weekend went by pretty fast for me. I do have a job interview today at 4. It's exactly or very close to what I was doing for 14 years prior to moving to IL. I really hope it works out. The benefits packet alone is great which would also include free fitness for the whole family. Not much else on my plate. Just waiting for the rest of my lab work to come back to determine what Dr. R is going to suggest I do. Mentally I'm feeling better so now if I can physically get there I'll be on top of the world.
Hope everyone has a great day!
