Saturday Roll Call

Dover Straits looks good.  We have passed it several times for other food places because it looks pricey from the outside.  Dinner prices are normal though for this area and I will have to look at the lunch and early bird menus.  You could have dropped off that other half here and not had to worry about it all the way home.  The pictures look like a nice Gulf shore restraunt that might make me homesick.  Home is where I sleep though but sometimes my stomach yearns for really fresh shrimp and Texas BBQ.

Hi everybody,
I'm a little late getting in to post. I've been busy baking pies I don't eat. Had a friend at work who had her foot operated on Thursday so I made her and her family dinner. Took one of my homemade apple pies, which nicely used up the last of the granny smith apples on my counter. 

I got out a box and two space bags of clothes out of the attic. I'm so excited, even though I haven't had surgery yet I'm down enough to get into my "been there done that clothes" I think you all know what  I mean. Some are still snug on me so I will have something to wear this winter when I'm on the losing team. It was so much fun seeing these clothes it felt like I'd been shopping.  Only negative thing is I now have to get them all put away before I go to bed.  Going to box up my summer things but as I think of it I may never wear them again so I need to mark the box so I  can give them away next spring.

It's nice to see all of your postings and  Christine I hope you'll feel better soon.
