Friday Roll Call
Good mornning all you sports fans! Not such a good night in Chicago history last eve. Both our South and North teams had it rough. But there's still more ball to play. I enjoyed the debates and thought both sides did well. But I don't see how I'm suppose to ignore the last eight years and one candidates close ties to the current policies when deciding my vote. Too many cliches for my taste. Anyway, today is a major golf outing for me. I'm representing my company so it's like a free day off! I'm leaving soon for Lemont, IL. Have a great weekend everybody! Need to get moving here and go to the store for a few food items before our friends come over. Then I suppose we will head off to Sam's so we can get all the food

tomorrow here at our house. Other than that not much going on but visiting with them and catching up on each other's lives.

Good Morning Paul and my IL family,
Paul, good luck on your golf game!! Have fun.
Today I am going for my bloodwork and then a quick stop at the bank and then home to finish laundry, pack and just clean up some. Jacob and I are heading out tonight along with my sister and neice to our parents place in Oregon, IL. They have a huge fall festival every year and we make it a "girls+Jacob" weekend. It's a lot of fun. I won't have computer access though as my parents don't have one! lol
Please keep my cousin in your prayers, she going through a lot of tests right now to find out if the lump in her breast is cancer or not. We lost her brother to cancer 7 years ago, he was only 33. Also a friend I used to work with had a mini stroke on Tuesday and she's only 26 and a single mom. If you could keep them both in your thoughts and prayers I would appreciate it! I know for a fact the power of prayers works!
Well I hope everyone has a wonderful day and weekend and I will be back on Monday...then just one day til I get to see Lucy!! yay

I am sitting here trying to type with a cat trying to get into my arms to be held. This makes it interesting. He demands to be held several times a day and is a pest about it.
I sure an glad it is Friday. Yesterday people were just plain nasty when calling in. I read earlier this week that customer service was in the top 10 of the most stressful jobs and I do believe it. It is amazing how upset people can get over trivial things. There are days you want to tell them to get a life.
Oh well, the nice people make up for the bad ones.

We still have a lot of friends MIA - Ronna, Pam, Barry... please add to these names, I don't want to miss anyone.
I'm so excited as I am going to OH's 10th Anniversary Event in Los Angeles. Kathy S. is going and I'm going to meet Charlie from FL, Eggface and Sarahlicious. To start, we have a Halloween Ball - so I get to dress up in costume. I just love that.
The price for the event is super cheap, only $30.00 for three days with the discount. I didn't do too bad with the airplane ticket either. The room stay is $135 a night, and if I can get a roommate, we'll share the cost. It's over the Halloween weekend. I fly out Friday morning and return early Monday morning and go to work from the airport. I got a red eye flight out of LA.
So much to look forward to in the next few weeks. Tuesday, I get to see Monica! YAY!!! It's been a long time. She looks so good and me, well, I'll get back to my slim self again.
OK, time to work. Have a wonderful Friday everyone.

Good Morning. Everyone seems to have big plans for the weekend. Its suppose to remain nice and fallish.
I am working again today, but this is the last Friday for a while.
Yesterday, I didn't get home until almost 6. Not a good day. Today will be different.
No plans for tomorrow, but Sunday I am going to my daughters and we are going to hang out at her friends house. It should be fun, She has 3 small dogs.
Monica, my prayers are with your family. Lucy, I wish I could go with you to the OH event. I really wish they would bring one to Chicago.

This is homecoming weekend for us with the big game tonight and the dance tomorrow night. David is going to the dance on what looks to be his first "real" date. He is growing up so fast.
My car is STILL not fixed and now he says it MIGHT be Monday. The original $ 1,060.00 price has almost doubled to $ 2,870.00. We are livid. Todd is especially cranky over the whole thing. I understand, as my car's book value is between $ 3,100 and $4,100, so it really hurts. Added is the fact that he MUST get a newer car very soon and we will be cutting WAY back on extras for a while. I guess I should learn how to use E-Bay and start getting rid of stuff I don't use........
I did no****ch, but I heard that the Cubs are doing their famous "choke" dance. I just don't understand how they can be the best team in baseball for the season then look like minor league-rs in the play-offs. OH well......I guess we can hope for a rally.
It will be interesting to navigate this weekend with only one car, as we are also supposed to have the grandkids over. We will figure things out, we always do.

Hello everyone! Well, I'm going back to work Monday, so I slept in a little bit today just because I could. :)
