Lisa I have found with the weight loss I am colder! Last winter was so hard. Let me tell ya those buses are  big cold tin boxes! So its not that the body is old it just the body doesn't have your insulated padding (FAT)  any longer

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good morning Paul and the rest of Illinois!

Sorry to hear that the gremlins found you.  I think we need to ship them to Ohio or something......
My car is STILL in the shop.  Maybe today...........................

Tonight is the homecoming parade at my kids' school.  David will be in the parade since he plays football, but I don't think that Liv has to be in it because she is still in Jr. High.  We have never sent to see the homecoming parade before, so it should be interesting.

Tomorrow is the big game and we will be hanging out there.

David is taking a girl to the dance so I promised to order him a corsage.  Luckily, he fits into the dress clothes that he wants to wear.  This is his first "real" date type thing.  He wants to take her to dinner, take pictures and everything.  He says that they are just friends though.  That is good for kids his age.  I don't want him to be too serious about any one girl.

That is about it for me today.

Everyone have a magnificent day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good Morning Illinoisians,

We may be in a worm hole this morning.  I am sure I saw a reply from another potential employer this morning in my inbox.  When I read through my email it was not there.  I wrote to them asking them to reply again and corrected several typos in my original.  Very strange.

Have not weighed but my down period has not put me into an eating frenzy though it did add a few calories that I would not have normally had.  I was physically ill yesterday.  Hopefully the end of what was trying to be a bad cold.  I got a good nights sleep last night and feel like it is gone this morning. Yesterday I felt as if the thorny vines from Snow White were growing through my veins.

Almost time for my second hi pro Slim-Fast and Martha is coming on.

Good afternoon everyone. Was lurking earlier and could not post. I needed to get a bunch of things done in the house before our guests arrived. At about 10 o'clock they called and said they were coming tomorrow Oh well, I got a lot more done that needed to be taken care of. I was also waiting for a package delivery but the girl called and said that it would be delayed and would not arrive for another couple days. Oh well - I did notice that the storm door windows need to be washed. I am waiting for the sun to go around to the south so it is not shining on the front door. I was also going to go to the store and get some bread and drop off my clean uniforms at work but I discovered that I only have 3 dollars in my purse.

Not much else on the agenda today but surf the internet. I can at least just veg out and maybe take a nap  as I woke up at 330am. Menopause sucks, but on a positive note I do not miss the PMS and buying and using female supplies

Lisa, we do not turn on our furnace until it gets to about 60 degrees in the house. We always like to see how long we can put it off. Last year I think it was about November 1st before it went on. We feel that we can always put on more layers of clothing, except in the shower of course. We will probably need to turn it on for our guests as they are from hot FL and are not used to the chilly weather.

This couple from Texas is fine with the current temps.  We did partially close our living room balcony door last night.
