Thursday Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois! Well the car gremlins found the Levine family last night. We came out from the restaurant that we were having dinner at to find that Liz's van had a flat tire. A screw had gone through the tred. Not a big deal until I found that the spare tire wouldn't release properly from the bottom of the car! After a friend came and we went to get some fix-a-flat that didn't work, I ended up going and getting my car to take the family home. So this morning my friend is going to go with Liz and take the tire off, bring it to the repair place and then take her back. The end result was that we got home 3 hours late and now there will be at least some missed work and expense all because the spare tire is stuck! Needless to say, I've never thought to check the gizmo that holds the tire in place! Well the week is almost over! Have a great day. Paul

oh wow!!! i would've never thought about checking to see if my tire could come out either. thanks for the heads up. i might have to have the hubby double check that for me. =) he outta *love* that! LOL

ok...wow! you know its going to be a LONG day when you go almost half the morning believing its friday only to watch the news and get a bit confused when they still have thursday on the 5 day weather forecast. OOPS! LOL

Hello everyone 
I wi**** was Friday, but alas I have to wait one more day. I am at work as always. After work I have to go to the laundromat (I live in an apartment no washer at home) that will take me most of the night.
I am in a good mood, yesterday my boss came to me to let me know she hasn't forgotten about me. I am up for a promotion. I will become supervisor of my department. Which I pretty much have been but now I will be paid for it. Its supposed to happen sometime in November. Its a big pay increase, which I could really use. This is something I think I really deserve. I have been working and managing my department for 4 years. Finally, I get what I have been working for!!! Yeah for me!!!!
I really hope I don't catch this car gremlin going around. Sorry to all those that has had problems with their car.
Christie- congrats on your success. Its success like yours that inspires and excites me. I can't wait to have my surgery.
Also, I put new pictures of my daughter on my profile. She looks alot like me only younger and much thinner.

It was mighty chilly this morning, low 40's. Yikes, I didn't want to get out of the blankets. Not much for today. This weekend is going to be another family visit one as my aunt is here from Austria. Plus I'm going to weigh****chers on Saturday.

Good Morning Everyone, in the frozen (well almost) land we call Illinois.
DH tells me as he is leaving this morning at 5:15, if this weather keeps up we will have to turn the furnace on. Ya think? It went on when I pulled myself out of those nice warm blankets this morning! I even dragged out the lighter of my leather jackets to wear today. This old body can't take the cold anymore!
The only thing I have going today is work. Yesterday we didn't even get a breather, and today doesn't look any better. The only good news is , is that I am in town today, so I can leave 30 min. later.
Hope noone else comes down with car problems. The gremlins have had enough fun.
