Monday Roll Call
Good morning friends!
Congrats Monica! What a victory!! I'm doing the plateau busters plan--this is day 8 and it is working, so I am encouraged.
We ended up doing a cleaning frenzy yesterday. We ended up getting the whole storage room clean instead of just one closet, packed up 6 or 7 bags for Goodwill and put them in the car, and then later while Kay was cutting the grass, I went back to the basement and cleaned the office. There are still rooms down there to clean, but we made good progress. The big room is mostly teacher stuff so Kay will need to clean it and then soon we can do the clothes storage room and make some decisions about what to keep and what must go. That's the messiest room down there and we've put it on hold for a year, so it's time!
Have a good day and stay dry!

Paul, I hope your sinuses clear out soon. That is always icky. The 5 pounds is not a big deal and will disappear before you know it. I'm not sure if I told you on Saturday, but you are looking GREAT! The drapes and your shirts all turned out great! I really love them and think they look wonderful hanging in your house.
I am back at work. I will post my pics as soon as I get a chance. My Internet was out at home yesterday when I checked. Most of our stuff turned out really well. We had friends and neighbors tie dying into the later evening. We had to get out the camp lanterns to see by. Liv and I did a couple more things yesterday and I STILL have half a basket of stuff to dye.
Eileen's things came out great also, and I LOVE the little bags! Her rainbow apron turned out exceptionally well too.
I am so glad that you all had as much fun as I did. I love sharing my interests with friends. Each time we do it, I learn more. I DO have to say that rinsing with the hose in the cold yesterday morning was kind of icky though. Oh well, Fall had to arrive sooner or later and I am glad we had such a beautiful day to be outside together on Saturday.
My car turned out to be a bigger problem than they first thought, one of the valves was bent, so it is still in the shop and they are happy to add another $ 1,000.00 to my bill. I MIGHT get it back tonight, but probably not until tomorrow night. I really hate being without it, because with our busy schedules, it puts a damper on things.
I wish everyone a lovely day and welcome, welcome to the new friends!
(The one for Wisconsin was this past Saturday---tie dye day.)
It is homecoming for my kids and the grandkids are coming out.
Although,,,,,,if it is not too far, maybe I can bring the grandkids in to walk with me???
MMMMMMMMMM.....there's an idea.
Paul sorry you aren't feeling so well, I do understand the weight gain. Like yesterday I did not eat a lot and today I was up 2 pounds. I have been in this rut for about 2 weeks. I haven't lost any weight but the same 2 to 5 pounds over and over!

LUCY WITH THE BAND i HAVE TROUBLE WITH ALL FRUIT WITH SKINS! I hate it but it happens

Karen
I have no problem eating radishes though. I just love them.
I will peel my fruits and vegs now. I hate to

But at least now I DO HAVE THE RESTRICTION!! Even if I want to eat (it's all in my head and eyes), my pouchie is saying NO WAY BABY!!
Take care,
Lucy
Sorry you are under the weather Paul, I love the curtains you made at Dawns!
I was surprised to see how late in the day it is, Staying home I have lost track of time.
I think I better get back to my early am routine as I will be returning to work soon.
Today I am just making appointments, trying to get ready for winter, rotating the summer clothes to another closet.
So happy to hear good news from you Monica! You look awesome, way to go!
Happy Monday everyone.
Cathy
